Brought my car here to have the noise from my steering pump looked at. I figured it’s an easy walking distance from the house, so I’d try them out in case they didn’t offer shuttle service. Jim asked me to pop the hood and noticed it was a tad low on fluid (however, when I looked at it yesterday, I thought it was right at the min. level). He topped it off & asked me to drive around for a couple of days to see if the noise goes away. He stated there’ll still be some noise until all the air gets pushed out of the system. So far, it sounds like the noise has subsided substantially. A day or so of driving will tell me if issue is truly resolved. Otherwise, I was quite pleased that he didn’t charge me a diagnostics fee (usually $ 75-​$ 80 min).
I feel comfortable bringing the vehicle back if it needs to be looked at more thoroughly.
