This place was the bomb. I thought I would feel out of place because im a little more hood than the average bistro person but the chef came out and shook my hand and made me feel welcome. The food was legit. Jalapeño mac and cheese was the best max and cheese ive had. Go to this spot.

Bistro 135 has a cool industrial vibe! Very nice! I had the roast primavera and added shrimp. There were so many great flavors in this dish! I would order it again. The owner and hostess were so attentive to my sister and I and we thoroughly enjoyed her 60th birthday in their restaurant. We shared the kailua dessert and it was wonderful. We also each ordered the peanut butter/caramel/chocolate pie to take home to our husbands. My husband loved it! We will go back here often.

Great food, great service! Wife and I both ordered steak, on medium and on medium rare. Beth temps were nailed perfectly. I wish the bacon jalapeño mac n cheese had more heat from the jalapeños. Overall the food was delicious and a lot of attention went into the plating. Also Caught the chef trading crazy faces with our 5 year old daughter. We had a great experience!

Everything here is super yummy! I’ve dined with them multiple times and always leave happy :) My faves have to be their jalapeño mac and cheese and their sizzling shrimp. Great ambiance and fabulously fresh food! Such a wonderful addition to Downtown Tracy.

I went for dinner last week and was beyond impressed with the food and service! So happy to have a SF style restaurant in the 209! For our starters we ordered the bacon & jalapeño Mac n cheese, chicken pesto meatballs & the cast iron sizzling shrimp. They all had amazing flavor! For the main course we ordered the arugula pesto(the homemade fettuccine noodles were delish!) and the red wine marinated skirt steak. They both left us very happy. I am a HUGE fan of pesto and would definitely get it again. The steak had amazing flavor! The strawberry margarita was made so well(I used to be a bartender so am quite particular) that I know I will order many more during future visits :) And last, but definitely not least, dessert… we ordered the crème brûlée and the peanut butter mousse pie. Wow is all I can say. I am looking forward to my next dinner already-I cannot wait to try other options on the menu!

Finally a hip restaurant in downtown Tracy! We had dinner last night with friends and we weren’t disappointed. I had the chicken risotto which was awesome. Everything came out with a great presentation. Kevin and Heather have created a wonderful environment in a beautiful setting. They really made an effort to make this a great place for a couple or even a group looking for a fun place to hang out. If you haven’t been here, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

We went here for my Dad’s birthday and it was great! From the food to the fabulous customer service, I will definitely be returning. It is great to have a place like this in Tracy. I will be recommending this place to others. I had the gnocchi without the chicken and it was delicious! We shared a few desserts but my favorite was the Kahula cake with ice cream. It was divine. The gentleman bringing all the food out was exceptionally friendly to all his guests and it really added a nice personal touch to our parties experience. Overall, a great a must needed addition to downtown Tracy!

I started off with the elderflower gin & tonic. It was very good. My SO had a glass of red wine, a blend. I ordered the whole beet salad. It was huge! I ate most of it. It was very good. My SO had the strawberry salad and ate it all. He also ordered the burger. It came with tons of shoestring potatoes. Enough for me to grab a few. He said the burger was just ok. My entrée was the fish of the day, seared salmon served with seasonal veggies. It was cooked perfectly. I ate all the salmon, but couldn’t finish the veggies to leave room for dessert. We shared a piece of the kahlua cake which came with Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream and a drizzle of crunchy caramel sauce. Not sure if caramel was supposed to be crunchy? It was good and we ate it all. We will definitely return to try other menu items. So happy downtown Tracy has more dining options.

My husband and I ate at Bistro 135 this Saturday. They have been open for about a month and got very busy after we had been seated for 20 minutes. The setting is small and intimate with a welcoming atmosphere and a family friendly vibe. Somewhere you can go early in the evening with kids or later in the night for drinks and dinner. Balance! We ordered the chicken meatball appetizer — the only other meatball I’ve had that melted in my mouth was from a pizza house in Dallas Texas. This meatball was succulent and tasty! For our entrees we chose the veggie burger and the arugula pasta with chicken. The veggie burger was flavorful but was a bit watery. Not very«patty-like» although not lacking in flavor. The arugula pasta was a treat! Not heavy and full bodied with flavor. The chicken was something straight from heaven! Not too flavored as not to take away from the the pasta experience, but encrusted to PERFECTION! We ended our meal with the French press coffee(Barista’s) and an order of no bake cheesecake. My husbands favorite dessert is cheesecake and let me tell you, we took at least 30 minutes to enjoy each. and. every. morsel of this version. It was light and dissolved in your mouth but perfectly paired with a graham cracker crust that made the cheesecake fabulous. With a smaller menu, and the Chef expediting each order that comes off the line you can’t help but KNOW each item is made to order and it feels good to have a meal prepared in such a manner.

This place is great! It’s the new best spot in downtown Tracy. Tracy’s downtown is finally taking off its training wheels. This place has a nice bar with a wonderful bartender, Kelly who is a superstar. We are only here for cocktails tonight but next time dinner for sure!

Every dish I have tried has been paired very well! Butternut squash gnocchi was fantastic. Butterfly shrimp with spinach and tomato is awesome. The Hamburger was super moist. The saying goes cheap isn’t good and good is cheap. This place might be a little pricey but all the food being served is fresh fresh fresh!!! I would pay a little more for fresh rather then less for frozen.

Big on Unilocal reviews so here goes nothing: Went here tonight for the first time for my husbands birthday. I made a reservation online and there was a section that asked for a description of any special occasions going on. I explained we were first time guests and that it was my husbands actual birthday. The hostess did not acknowledge any of it. Not that it’s a big deal, but why have a section to explain why you are coming if you are just going to ignore it?! We got the shrimp appetizer and it was good. I got a strawberry Moscow mule and it was not good at all! It looked great but tasted way different than any mule I’ve ever ordered(in a bad way)! Plus, no copper cup which is a bummer. For the main entrée I got the chicken risotto dish. It had absolutely AMAZING flavor, but the risotto was way too crunchy! Hubby got the steak. Again, the flavor was amazing but it was cold which ruined it. For dessert we got the strawberry short cake. Nothing special with a Very hard shortcake. For $ 100 dinner for two, I felt disappointed. The place has so much potential but left us feeling that it wasn’t quite complete. The bare white walls need some unique décor or art and then the place will feel more finished. Hopefully the will fine tune the items they offer because it is a cool little spot in Podunk Tracy! Miguel was our server and he gets 5 stars!!!

So great! Finally got to get out of the house and try Bistro 135 out. I got the Cheeseburger(cooked to a perfect medium well!) and my friend got the Arugula Pesto with Chicken, I’m usually not a huge pesto fan but this was so great! Not overly«basil-y», really well balanced. You can really tell the difference in the house-made fettuccine. All around great food and experience. Can’t wait to go again and try more dishes

Really nice place, I just don’t think charging livermore prices for drinks in old downtown tracy is a good idea, $ 9 for a beer is just a rip off Food was good needed salt, chicken and rice dish was good

So happy to see new places in downtown! Although it took 20 minutes to receive our drinks or water, the food definitely made up for it. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great! I had the pesto fettuccini with chicken and my husband had the swordfish. We were both very happy with our meals! We will definitely go back again!

Excellent! First time ordering from here. Me and the fam had the following to go: — bacon jalapeño mac n cheese — swordfish — skirtsteak — whole beet salad Definitely plan on going back and sitting down there. Looks like they have a good beer selection on tap, wine, and a full bar. Highly recommend this place and so glad they are here. Tracy needs something other than the typical big box corporate restaurants.
