Dr. Emmett is awesome. I, like Joe L here, have a bit of dentist anxiety. After living the first quarter century of my life I realized it was time to have my wisdom teeth removed, and it wasn’t going to be fun. Dr. Emmett is very easy going, amiable, and he knows how to communicate what he needs from you. The day of my surgery there was no time wasted, he got me sedated and removed my teeth without any fuss. What blew me away the most is how he called on me later that night, LONG after the office was closed from his personal number, to make sure I was doing OK.
The moral of the story:
There’s a reason why people say tough tasks were «like pulling teeth». With Doc Emmett «pulling teeth» isn’t as bad as you might think.

Dr. Emmett is wonderful! I was reluctant to have my wisdon teeth removed and he convinced me it was necessary. He and his staff of lovely ladies made the day of the procedure smooth and quick. They didn’t waste anytime getting me in the chair, prepped and knocked out. They are friendly and professional. Dr. Emmett called the night of the procedure to see how I was doing and when some excessive bleeding caused me to panic on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, I called his office and he promtly returned my call. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Uh Dr. Emmett is the best oral surgeon ever. Ok so he’s the only one i’ve ever been to, but i have a lot of dental anxiety and a history of dentists not being able to numb me at all. Dr. Emmett is cool as a cucumber, kind of like a real life George Clooney. He calmed me down and talked me out of insisting to be put to sleep, which i really didn’t need. He kept calling me buddy and Big Joe, and then popped my tooth out in 30 seconds with no pain at all. If you need someone yanked out of your face, definitely go with him.
