Dr. Spiller is a no-nonsense kind of dentist. He’s also fairly priced, and in my experience, he’s never tried to sell me more than what was necessary to repair a tooth. Once, I went in for a couple of fillings, and mentioned that I needed a wisdom tooth taken out and he did it right there. He’s efficient and does quality work.

HIPAA violations aside, Dr Spiller, you sent me a message approximately 14 minutes before you posted your rebuttal. I stand by my prior commentary; in the case of my treatment, I ***followed your recommendation*** to return to complete the root canal after six weeks– which, if I recall, was six weeks and two days in my case– to «rule out the risk of infection». Most modern dentists will complete a root canal in one sitting and could do so in 2006 when I saw you; unfortunately I learned that too late. I rather vividly recall all three visits to your office and stand by my prior assessment of your conduct. I would name the three other young female patients who, upon mention of your name, cringe and tell me the same story about cheek pinching(outside of the context of a regular cancer screening), hair patting, nose touching, and yes, the use of the bosom as an instrument tray.– however, I don’t think they need THEIR treatment histories posted on the Internet for anyone random to review, either. Just in case you need a review, here’s a link to HIPAA information from the US Department of Health and Human Services.
