Davy Crockett Riding Stables

This place was outstanding! They are very knowledgable about the area and the nature that you see along the ride not to mention for what you pay! Only $ 25 for an hour ride that ended up lasting more than an hour. The horses are beautiful and the staff is very polite and caring about your safety. Don’t let one bad review turn you away from the place. My partner and I gave it a shot and it was well worth it we will definitely be returning in the future.

Warning!!! Stay away from this place!!! My wife and I had purchased our tickets through Westgate Resorts and had traveled an hour to this place. Upon arrival we had a hard time finding a parking spot due to lack of space. Then when approaching the office most of the employees were smoking in the small group of customers and many children were present??? With no «Hello» or «How ya doing» we walked into the office to check in only to be scolded by an employee, she told us to leave her alone and give her a minute and she continued to repeat herself. We chose the 1 1\2 hour tour. All four elder employees were talking amongst themselves in front of all paying patrons about our ticket vouchers saying that they do not make enough money on our tickets and have turned people away with them before. They continued complaining about the tour that we had booked. They began placing people on horses and we were still unattended and the employees were yelling that they did not have enough horses. I decide to call Westgate about getting a refund and they said «Yes». Immediately my wife and I walled back to the car and went straight back an hour away to get our money back. Westgate apologized and said «we won’t be doing business with them anymore» and offered us free tickets to their water park, to which we kindly turned down. Stay away from DAVEY CROCKETS RIDING STABLES!!! One star is even to much.
