Great place to stay. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin. Very clean. Quiet. Has a jacuzzi. Pet friendly. Reasonable Price. Good location in regards to the Smokies and Cades Cove. Offer discounts for breakfast at the Apple Valley Store, which is also dog friendly in their patio.

We had a great time here. Very clean. Docking one star because the front desk staff wasn’t very attentive while we were checking in and a woman came in to clean the bathroom while we were trying to pack up and checkout. We asked her to come back in 10 minutes but she was insistent. I’m not even sure what she cleaned — the bathroom looked exactly the same when she left.

Great care and service. I’ve stayed at the Lodge once had dinner a couple of times. It’s probably the nicest place to stay and eat in Townsend.

Nice rustic décor but loud with uninsulated walls. No lunch service but a good continental breakfast. Very polite but inflexible restaurant staff. Identity of the place can’t decide if it is upscale or a Hampton Inn. Overall, not worth the price.
