How is this place still in business? Simply disgusting… We received a gift certificate to this place so we figured why not give it a try especially for free… The people making sandwiches never heard of gloves… Bare hands on all the meats and cheeses. Wash your hands at least before touching my sandwich… The meats in the deli case looked dried out, nasty and it didn’t help there was personal crap stuffed into the deli case near all the food… We got home and tried to not think about the condition of this place… We opened our onion rings and what do we see, 3 long hairs intertwined in the food… By now our stomachs were close to shutting down but we figured let’s try our sandwiches… My sub was ok but after what we just went through nothing was going to make this pleasurable… Her sub had old chicken cutlets that tasted likely they were microwaved… If you find yourself in the area and your hungry go elsewhere… Totowa Health needs to re-inspect this place

Seen this place many times and never ventured in. Decided to do so today and give them a try. Took it to work and got to eat it. Not hard to make a good breakfast sandwich. Fresh meat, fresh bagel, sprinkle of salt, pepper and ketchup and don’t over toast the bagel. This was on the money. Fresh meat and they actually this place used more meat than I usually get on a sandwich. I was very impressed with the sandwich. Great start to my rainy Wed morning

Yuck! Don’t ever get food from here! They don’t wear gloves when preparing their food… they use their bare hands! I went in to buy some take-out — one fresh mozz and red roasted pepper sub, and one grilled eggplant wrap. The older gentleman who helped me(older in comparison to the younger kids working there) started by grabbing a wrap with his bare hands, which I was a little grossed out by, but I figured that if he put gloves on for the rest of the food-making, I would be okay with it. However, he took the wrap in the back kitchen, so I couldn’t see what he was doing. But sure enough, he then came out of the kitchen(with no gloves on) to verify the second sandwich that I wanted(the fresh mozz sub), and then proceeded to take a sub roll with his bare hands and cut it open, touching the inside of the bread in the process. At that point, I was totally grossed out, and tried to catch him to stop him from making the second sandwich, but he was quick to go back in the kitchen. So instead, I told the younger girl who was working about my issue(that I’m uncomfortable eating food touched by someone’s bare hands), and asked her to get him from the back because I wanted to ask him to re-make my food with gloves on. I waited for about 2 – 3 minutes, which is pretty long when you’re just standing there waiting, and then decided to walk out. I wasn’t going to risk them spitting in my food or something the second time around. This place had been recommended to me by a co-worker, so I went in there with high hopes, but left very disgusted and annoyed. I will never go back… ever.

Family owned, really good subs. Lots of meat. Just what I was looking for. I would definitely go back.
