I tried my best to use Daley moving but I could never get a quote or call back in any timely way. My first contact with Daley was in March for a move that had to be done by the end of April. The office is definitely disorganized when it comes to call backs. I spoke with 3 different people and no one seemed to know what was going on. I do know that one of the guys was Having a surgery and I can understand the stress that can be caused but there needs to be better communication with potential customers.

Just finished moving with Daley today. We presented quite a challenge for the Daley team — moving my 85 year old Mother (who’s thrown nothing away for 60 years) from Connecticut to Massachusetts. I can’t say enough about our team — they packed and loaded two 18 wheelers with all my mom’s crap and they were incredibly efficient, friendly and patient (critical when moving an 85 year old!). I would use them again in a heartbeat (although if I have to move my mom again, I’m fairly certain my heart will stop beating).

Company gave free tickets and rented an entire movie theatre for new STAR WARS movie. What a terrific bunch of folks. Even had a ton of raffle items like toy light Sabres to give away to audience. If we ever move we are using Daley!

My thoughts on this place are mixed… I called and got a quote right away, but when my plans changed (and they had my deposit $) I couldn’t get a straight answer out of anybody in the office for a few weeks. I was about to call and say I was going to fight the deposit charge on my credit card and report them to the BBB, but luckily they called me back before it went that far. They scheduled my new move that week. BUT by far, the best part was the actual moving crew. Rob and his crew were fast and professional and exceeded my expectations. They apologized for the confusion with the office staff, they communicated well with us and our move was done in a day without a hitch!
