I have been seeing Dr. Wan for several years and highly recommend him. He is an excellent doctor with wonderful «bedside» manner, a very thorough approach to concluding his diagnoses, and a conservative approach to treatment– meaning he will start small and work his way through the gamut of available treatment options and not opt for the most drastic (and usually expensive) right away. He is very well educated and explains everything so you understand exactly what’s going on with your feet! He is extremely caring, and his staff has experienced virtually zero turnover in at least the 5 years I’ve been seeing him. You can always expect to see the same friendly faces when you go to see him and they seem to recognize and remember everyone, which is really nice anywhere these days!
Dr. Wan treated me for plantar fasciitis first with braces, then with cortisone injections, physical therapy, and eventually surgery when my condition did not fully improve over the course of a year or so. I still continue to see him for my other foot which is now heading in the same direction. I can recommend him as a podiatrist and a surgeon — he is truly an exceptional doctor, and usually has some good jokes to tell, too (usually as a distraction when you’re getting those super fun cortisone shots)!
