Vons

I usually prefer to shop at Ralph’s but the Ralph’s around here are too small and Vons is really close to my house. I think that overall the selection of produce and other products could be better. I also feel like prices are high.
I love that there is a Starbucks in the store. However, whoever ordered the grocery carts must not have kids. The drink holders are in the area of the cart where babies/​toddlers sit. So if I try to place my Starbucks in the cup holder, my toddler ends up throwing the drink across the store. I know it seems like a minor issue but when I shop here at least once a week and I want Starbucks, it can drive me crazy. It’s hard to navigate pushing the shopping cart with one hand while trying to hold my drink in the other. I’ve seen carts with the drink holders hooked to the basket part which would work out much better!
Another quirk is that the floors slant. If you let go of the cart in certain areas, it’ll slide away from you. This isn’t a big deal, just something that always makes me laugh.
This Vons does have a pretty good health food/​gluten free section. Also the lines are usually pretty short. The store is clean and I’ve had some really helpful employees, as well as a few who aren’t as helpful. There is a really nice man who is usually stocking produce. I’ll try to get his name next time I see him, he is always very helpful and kind. I sometimes find the meat guys to be unprofessional

This is the nicest location that I think I have ever been to. The staff is always friendly, and they remember their frequent customers. I go into this location once or twice a week and buy nearly all of the manager special steaks and every time that I shave shopped here has been a pleasant one. Today is my daughters birthday and there is only one cake she wanted and that was the Cinderella dress cake, vons typically needs 1 – 2 days for a cake order but today I stressed how important it was for me to have that cake for my daughter. I got lucky because they only had ONE Cinderella Barbie left and they also started the cake for me and told me to pick it up at 3pm. I have nothing but nice things to say about this location

I have been shopping at this location for 25 years and the last 5 i would say is horrible! The Managers they get in there think they are CEOs and today was the straw that broke the Camels back for me! 2 dogs walking around and they are affraid to say anything first of all California law states that the only service pet allowed in a grocery store is a dog for a blind person NOT A COMPANION DOG!!! And DAN the douchebag wants to laugh at me and says he has been doing it for 35 years but when i told him the code he got all choked up and says well our legal team says its ok!!! Well DAN i dont think the health department will agree when i call them nor will Vons Corporate!!! If flipping rediculous to say these companion dogs are allowed where i buy my food!!! And theyre walking around on the floor!!! Theyre supposed to be contained DAN read the law!!! Ralphs just gained a new customer
