Tolain Bridal Salon

We had our wedding and photography taken care of by Tolain. They helped with everything from the Kimono and tux, trough helping in the wedding itself with setting up and clean up afterwards.
The photographer was very good! I disagree with a previous review about studio photography. From what I saw in the showroom they did have lots of studio photography, but rest assured they can do on site too. We had our wedding in a Japanese garden in Pasadena and they were there for us from beginning to end.
My wife looked very beautiful in the wedding Kimono, and makeup supplied by Tolain.
They really help out with everything needed for the wedding, and we could not have done without them!

I guess this store’s primary customer base are people who want traditional in studio photo sessions. As a bridal salon, they’re lacking substantially. For one, their staff is rude on the phone and even more so in person. There is nothing warm or inviting about this place.
The store only carries older Pronovia samples in size 6 and under. The consultant absolutely can not order you a dress under any circumstances. Online, they’re an authorized Pronovia retailer. They even have Pronovia catalogs in the waiting area. So it’s bizarre that they can not order a gown.
Their accessories are also older and out of style. The consultant recommends shopping at other stores or buying the accessories online.
The store also strictly adheres to their appointment only policy even if they’re not seeing clients all day. No same day appointments even if you call ahead.
I guess the management of this bridal salon gave up on the business not too long after it opened.

Tolain took photos of my wife and I prior to our wedding. We dressed in traditional Japanese Wedding. The photos where amazing. We are very happy with the efforts Tolain put forth. We displayed the picture at our actual wedding and the guests where left speechless, Our Guest where in shock of the beauty. I am very grateful to Tolain for the impact of the picture. I highly recommend Tolain to all who have interest. I look this day at the picture and can only smile at the joy of having done this.
