I take my son here at least once a week. The staff is so helpful. I love how BOB jumps in the cage and gives my son batting pointers! Same with Dom… your help is appreciated! THANKS!

We sent our two boys here for baseball camp during the summer, and unfortunately it was a disappointment. There was little instruction; it was mostly drills, and the instructors didn’t even take the time to teach the kids HOW to do the warm-up drills or what they were for. Kids just followed other kids and most did them wrong. For some of the games, they rewarded some kids with candy and others got nothing, which created some bragging and hurt feelings amongst the kids. My boys were bored since the only used wiffle balls for the indoor games and drills. They begged not to go each day. I talked to another mom who pulled her son out for the same reason. My husband is a Little League coach and was greatly disappointed that the instructors didn’t teach the kids anything or give them feedback. It was crowded and there seemed to be too many kids per instructor(and I use that term«instructor» lightly because there was no instruction taking place). During lunch, the kids just watched TV, and my kids came home and said«we saw naked people on TV!» Granted, it was just a commercial for Naked and Afraid, but I didn’t see any adult supervision at all during lunch and the kids basically got to watch anything they wanted. We missed the Tom Hicks baseball camp and won’t be back for this next year.

The batting cages are nice. Stay away from the private lessons and club baseball teams. The coaches are changing constantly. The Surf baseball team is a money making machine and that’s it. During practices it is a factory drill, very little hands on coaching, The owner lets the parents pick who is on what team. He will take whoever as long as they can pay. Completely disorganized. It is shame to have such a nice facility yet it is so poorly run. Shane may have at been a great ball player at one time but he is not a business man. He is also dishonest. Don’t put your money«down» on anything because you won’t get it back — no matter what he says.

I signed my sons up for the summer camps along with 8 of their friends. They separate them by age but didn’t tell us that ahead of time. One of my sons didn’t know a single kid in his group. I asked if they would switch him the next day and they said they would. 2nd day of camp, I had to call again to have him put with his friends. 3rd day of camp, same thing. This time, a VERY rude girl told me they can’t change groups. I explained they did the day before and she told me that wasn’t true. I drove down to talk to a person and was told my son moved himself the day before(which is NOT something he would ever do by himself). She continued to talk down to me and accuse my son of lying and refused to help in any way. All while my son was crying. I’ve never been treated with such bad customer service in my life. Esp when it comes to dealing with kids. I pulled both kids out of the camp and will tell all of their friends to never pay a dime to this establishment!

My 12 year old nephew is so into baseball that I think he may someday become a manager! He loves this place as he has been here many times. We celebrated his birthday with a party here and invited about 8 friends. They spent three hours eating pizza and playing games. During the week days its packed with travel ball players working on their batting, so it is much more accessible on the weekends. It has very large batting enclosures with machines that can pitch 40mph to about 80mph. There is enough room that you can also adjust the plate to any distance that would fit your league. Private instruction is also available. The only drawback is that it is fairly expensive.

Awesome cages and roomy space. Went here for the first time today and the pricing is reasonable for the over handed machines. I will definitely be back to hit more!

The batting cages are nice. Shane the owner doesn’t have a clue how to treat customers. And the surf team is only after your money. Never had a consistent coach. Stay away.
