The Fix It Lass

Recently, I moved into an old house and had to get some electrical work done. Unfortunately, the electrician left behind a handful of drill holes that needed patching up before all the creepy crawlies started letting themselves in. Cue Cass. She patched these up quickly, and installed a ceiling fan in the bedroom. I now I can sleep well with air circulating around me, not worrying what will crawl up from those holes. I will be calling her back after the El Nino storms to fix up the backyard.
As a woman raised in the 80’s to not let strange men into my house, it’s nice to be able to hire a woman. I noticed that Cass double wiped her feet on the porch mat each time she came inside. She also offered small suggestions on things I could do MYSELF to spruce my place up a little, not trying to upsell me to buy more services from her.

I needed two sets of cornhole boards hung up on a wall for easy storage to be taken down and put back up easily. She was able to come up with all the parts that would be perfect for this type of job as well as the design for how they should be placed on the wall.
She finished the job while after hours when everyone had already left and what I came into the next morning was fantastic.
Her creativeness, attention to detail, and forward thinking allowed for a well done project. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to interior design (which was needed to be taken into account as I work in an upscale office where attention to detail is huge).
No wonder why she is typically booked a week or two out because people know that she does quality work.
She is also super professional and does not control take on the project and will listen to what you have in mind.
Even after finishing the job, I called her the next day to see if we could get the felt that she had purchased that never ended up being used and she was glad to bring it back to our office the next day.
She is still working on coming up with a design to store the cornhole bags, which I am very excited to see what she has in mind

I highly recommend Cass! As a not-​very-​handy single female, I’ve called upon the help of a number of professional handymen over the years and Cass is the only one I’ve ever not had complaints about and genuinely appreciated working with. She’s extremely responsive and flexible, and came up with recommendations that were usually way better than my original idea!
Cass did a number of jobs for me, including installing a complicated large dog door and dishwasher, and hanging up numerous large and knick knacks around the house. In addition, I wanted a garbage disposal installed which she said was a bit beyond her as it required some professional plumbing work, but she arranged to have a plumber come by while she was working on the other items and coordinated everything for me.
Cass also took the time to explain and walk me through things, so I might try hanging some of the pictures on my own next time ;)

Don’t waste the dime calling, she doesn’t return phone calla, I guess she doesn’t need the work.

We had a mailbox and a kitchen cabinet that needed to be taken care of before guests arrived and it took Cass only a day to fix everything. She is professional in returning my calls, listening to my requests and giving great advices to improving our home. Our house would be falling apart if it wasn’t for Cass. Thank you so much!!!

Allow me to preface by saying that Cass did not end up doing the required work, however, I was so impressed by her. This is a woman with integrity. She provided the needed insight, advice and guidance for my husband and I. Lass spent time with us and truly cared about quality of work. This is a job that we will most likely have to get the original contractor to repair. Instead of Lass making a quick buck, she gave us very valuable advice. Lass is a first class professional and I will be calling her in the future! She will call you back right away, email you right away and shows up right on time!

Cass is so refreshing to work with. When I called her, I left her a message and she called back pretty quick. She was able to schedule the job for the next day. I needed her to install 2 bathroom fans. She arrived on time, picked up the 2 fans for me and installed them very quickly. I will definitely call Cass again the next time I need some handyman work done.

Cass is amazingly helpful! My husband and I are not handy and we needed so many little and big projects done all over the house. Cass was great at giving us fair estimates and completing great work in a very timely and professional manner. For 5 years we have wanted to get a fan in the restroom fixed and it only took a visit from Fix it Lass to get it operational! Cass is the best!!! We wanted to do a quick change to an office space in our bridal salon. She came in and quickly transformed it from a plain old space to the perfect setting for our hair stylist and make-​up artist. She’s also helping me create a dog free area in my backyard. She has great vision and is one of the hardest working women I have ever met!!!

Cass is phenomenal, I wish I could give 10 stars because she deserves it. We have utilized her services numerous times over the past two years and have not one complaint. She is professional, clean, and smart, not to mention extremely polite and personable. Today she hung some mirrors in the lobby where I work, having a TON of patience as my boss and I had her move the mirror «a little to the left, a little to the right, a little bit down, now a little to the right.» until we found the perfect location. They are PERFECT!
