Beware or this doctor and clinic. If your reading this post, make sure not to make an appointment, if you do, you’ll probably remember this post and understand why i’m writing it.
I very rarely write negative feedback and try to avoid it as i don’t like to leave bad comments but this is health related so I feel that I may be helping potential victims make their decision.
I’m not saying that Dr. Arora is a bad doctor, but my experience was horrible, from the beginning and all the way to billing. I’ll keep it really short:
— Dr. didn’t seem like he was listening at all and didn’t address my concerns. After i explained my symptoms he stayed quiet typing on his computer, then when i stopped talking he kept typing, and kept typing and clicking. It was an awkward silence for a while. He barely looked up and finally said about 20 words «injections block nerve for heal headache». NO explanation just 1 recommendation. «come back when ready».
— Dr. came off as being rude. Maybe it was a bad day for him, not sure, but that is how perceived it.
— Left without any further knowledge than i came in.
So at this point it was a wast of time and money for my co-​pay. I can live with that.
*******THE BILL***********
OMG! the bill was like an April fools joke. Except it wasn’t April fools?! He had billed me for a total of $ 983 which showed 3 weird codes, each for $ 170. in addition to the $ 450, 15min office visit…
I called my insurance provider and they told me that those code represented 1hour visits for physiological testing (3hours). LOL. they are fraudulently billing for services never provided. This is the main reason it took me over the edge to write this post.

Dr. Aurora is amazing. If you are looking for a doctor that treats your pain with pills and are not interested in fixing the root causes, go somewhere else. I’ve been living with severe nerve pain for the past 5 years when I was referred to Dr. Aurora. He recommended and performed two interventional nerve block injections that did not work. Fortunately, there are other options. He meet with me for over an hour to discuss my options and in the end I decided to go with the Spinal Cord stimulation device from Boston Scientific. After the device was implanted, 90% of my nerve pain is gone! Dr. Aurora is an outstanding pain management doctor and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a solution to the root causes of your pain.

Dr. Arora has changed my life!
Dr. Arora, is not a pill dispensing doctor, and for that I am grateful. Dr. Arora looks for the cause of the pain and has addressed that with me. He also looks at the whole person for possible issues to pain. In my case, I was having pain due to inflammation. Now, he could have just given me pills to treat the symptoms but he asked if I was willing to see someone about nutrition. I said yes. Thank God I did!
What a difference! I had no idea that certain foods were killing me, well not literally, but they were causing lots of pain. Sugar, rice and wheat were a few of the offenders. Now, I’m not a «Gluten-​Free» freak or a hippy tree hugger, not that there is anything wrong with them, I’m just someone that’s into facts and trial and error. Once Dr. Arora took care of the main issue, which required radiofrequency ablation, it was up to me to keep the inflammation issues in check. I did so by eating organic foods, cutting out wheat, sugar, rice, corn and a few other things. Of course I did test to make sure these were the cause by eating them and noticing that within a few hours I started to feel aches and pains. His holistic approach to my treatment has been amazing. Brandy Moore is the person working with me on better organic eating habits and has made a word of difference. Who knew that drinking milk with turmeric would help with joint pains? I stopped popping Ibuprofen every morning thanks to this «Golden Milk».
Dr. Arora has taken the time to work with me and offer advise for a better future. I have been doing my part and feel great.
