When I first looked online for a razor 1000 rental company i was impressed with the their website. After my bad experience with this «company» I have learned that the reason the service is so poor and the website looks so good so because the owner has a full time job working on websites. What this means is little time is spent on the customer service aspect.
One of the owners (Rene) told me that the belt on our Rzr was about to break but that there was a replacement belt coming with the rental. And he was correct as the belt broke about 10 mins into a ride with my kids in back. Keep in mind that this was a very slow, «kid friendly» ride. Rene stated that replacing the belt was super simple and anyone could do it. It took myself and and another guy to get this belt replaced in the middle of Pismo dunes.
We returned the Rzr totally cleaned out and better than we received it. Rene kept $ 180 of our deposit to pay for his replacement belt that he gave us when he specifically knew the belt would break.
I asked Rene what would happen if someone rented from him that had no experience replacing belts… He stated «They would be s**t out of luck I guess».
Beyond the poor customer service and lack of integrity, Rene charged our credit card for the deposit when he stated it would be only an authorization. It then took many texts back and forth to get him to return the deposit back to the card and of course, minus $ 180.
Run far, far away from Rapteezy.

If I could give this so called company zero stars, or negative stars, I absolutely would. This is a side business and the proprietor is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.
Spend a little more money and rent a sand toy from a dealership who knows how important customers are and how important future business is to the survival of their enterprise.
Don’t put yourself through the pain of using Rapteezy which will absolutely detract from your whole sand dunes experience, which is supposed to be fun, not stressful and annoying! There is nothing in this world that could ever cause me to seek out and deal with this «company» ever again!
