Found this place on Unilocal, wanted to try something different… Called in the order and asked if they had any specials and the nice man had a large combo, large pepperoni and 2 liter soda for 22 $… It’s located in grocery store… very nice people… it’s actually called Old torrance Pizzaria not Pronto pizza…

Okay… I love their pizza from my first bite! It’s made with all fresh ingredients and I love the sauce! Their pizza taste lite and flavorful!!! Not too thick of dough and my kids love it too! The people here are awesome. The best hole-in-the wall pizzeria in a long time. Give them a try, don’t be mislead by their beat up patio chairs and tables… Their pizzas are incredible!

Nice, no frills, family owned business. The pizza was freshly made and hot out of the oven. I work in old Torrance a couple of times each month and will definitely be going back. The owner even gave me a free piece of banana bread as consolation for a longer than normal wait(top shelf of the oven was on the fritz). The daily deals on the weekdays are a great value.

First, this pizzeria is inside the Torrance Produce Market and Deli. It’s located in the old Torrance area. There is a separate Unilocal review for Torrance Produce Market however, since one is a grocery store and the other a pizzeria, I’m creating a new Unilocal review. The store and pizzeria is owned by two sister’s. There were four of us and we had a deal of $ 10 for $ 20 worth of pizza. We were surprised that it was inside of a grocery store but with the coupon, couldn’t pass up the deal. Since it’s not really a restaurant but a store, they don’t have a sitting area so «take out» would be the norm here, although they have one table with four chairs inside by the deli. We ordered 2 large four item pizzas. One with chicken, feta, garlic and spinach and one with pepperoni, sausage, black olives and mushrooms. One of the girls graciously took our order and I was pleasantly surprised to see her get the dough and start creating the pie by hand, stretching it and tossing it. Not many places do that these days, always using a machine to stretch it out. In about 15 minutes we had our pizza’s and decided to sit at the table after buying sodas at the grocery section. We LOVED the pizza! They were New York style, which is my favorite. It had a soft, chewy crust with a nice seasoned homemade tomato sauce. It wasn’t the thick processed, sweet sauce used by most others. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The one with the chicken, feta, garlic and spinach was SOYUMMY! Unique and quite tasty. The pepperoni, sausage, black olives and mushrooms was just as good. All four of us agreed how good the pizza’s were. The girl came up and asked how they were. We gave her nothing but positive feedback. We each had four slices and brought home the rest for a friend who couldn’t make it. We will definitely return. I have actually thought of the pizza a couple of times and can’t wait to go back.
