Yucky, total waste of money! I am at a total loss as to how this place is still open. The food is greasy and tasteless.

I really tried to like this place but it is hard to when they’re serving stuff from the night before to next day’s early customers. I ordered this spicy seafood noodle dish… the shrimp texture was so mushy from being soaked over night in the broth. The older guy that works here, he might be the owner, is really nice. However, I will not come back. They recycle ingredients from the day before. Gross!

We have yet to encounter a negative experience. The food was great, sauces distinguishably spectacular, and the staff is super friendly! ORDERS: –Sweet & Sour Pork LOVED this dish; they make their pork crunchy(not mushy/soft like many other restaurants) and veggies mixed with the sauce were delicious. –Mongolian Beef Can’t go wrong with this one! Amazing flavor with enough meat. –Fried Shrimp w/Garlic Sauce My FAV. They give so much shrimp, and the sauce with enough crunch fulfilled our desires ;) Rice was free, and the hot teas were great. We shared the 3 dishes among 4 people, and left with happily filled tummies.

We been coming here for ages and this place has not changed at all. We ordered Jjajjangmyun and sweet and sour beef. The jjajangmyun was really delicious. The black bean sauce and the noodles were delicious. The sweet and sour beef is always crispy as always. This is the way I like it. Also, they give you a lot too unlike other places. The place is not busy but you get the food right away. Lots of parking.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately it was not good. The best part of this restaurant is the customer service. I ordered: shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, chicken and broccoli and chicken chow mein. Shrimp fried rice: lacked flavor and was simply white rice tossed with pieces of chicken and some vegetables. Orange chicken: very saucey and soupy with soggy meat and lacking actual flavor. Chicken and broccoli: bland Chow mein: the noodles had good texture

Place looked clean but could really use a face lift. Server dropped food at table and never returned to see if we needed anything. Nothing was hot; tea, soup and/or food. Place not busy but food still took a long time. After taking a few bites of my dish I realized shrimp not fully cooked! A few servers could see something was wrong and still took three gestures before any server approached table. Requested check did receive credit for the dish. I will definitely not be returning here to many other local chinese restaurants to go to with better atmosphere, service and tasting food.

My family has been going to them for years and LOVED them BUT this last visit was horrible. We will not be going back. Food was extremely bland and everything tasted the same. The King Pao Chicken was not even spicy! Mushrooms were rubber and obviously from a can. Beef was fatty and chewy. Not even close to what it use to be.

Giving this place 2 stars because the ambiance looked legit. Walking in I was super excited. Real Asians and Chinese looking stuff but these chinks don’t know what the fuck they’re cooking. My dog wouldn’t even eat the soup because she has standards. Bye Felicia.

My favorite place for so long! This place brings back so many memories of childhood. My family loves to get the zha Jiao«crispy dumpling», za Tsai ro shi mien«hand pulled noodles with pork and veg», la Jiao ji fan«spicy chicken with rice». Yummy! We have known the owners for ages, they are such nice and hardworking people, just wish more people came here on a regular basis, keep small businesses alive!

We tried seafood jjampong here and it was old, extremely salty, and bitter taste. It was the worst jjampong I ever had in my life. I will never come back here.

The food was absolutely disgusting. I simply wasted my money on food that we couldn’t even eat and we had to throw in the trash. The restaurant is falling to pieces inside and that should’ve been the first sign that the food would be disgusting. When places reach this lower quality of food they should simply shut the doors and save everyone the trouble hopefully I do not get sick from eating this terrible food.

Second visit not as impressive as the 1st. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. Crispy duck was very dry and seemed overcooked to me. I know it’s supposed to be Crispy, but this was so dry and overcooked it had no moisture or flavor left. The sauce they serve with it was so strong that I did not get any meat flavor at all, just strong sauce on jerky. I won’t be getting the duck again. Paper wrapped chicken had lots of teriyaki like sauce. Again, couldn’t taste the chicken, just the sauce. Not impressed. I’ll give Moos another chance soon, since we live close by and the prior visit was great.

Great place for Korean-Mandarin cuisine for over 30 years. The reviewers who ordered Americanized Chinese dishes like Chop Suey and gave Moo’s 2 or 3 stars are idiots; ask those in the know and they will tell you Moo’s is the best place in the South Bay for jjajang myun, kkangpu shrimp, and Samsung jjam ppong. Far tastier than all the Cantonese-Chinese places with spicier and more flavorful dishes thanks to the Mandarin and Korean influences. If you have a geriatric palate and are accustomed to bland food like American, French, Filipino, Japanese, or Cantonese cuisines, this establishment and the recommended dishes aren’t for you.

Moo’s Chinese Restaurant has plenty of parking. Bf and I strolled in here on a Sunday for lunch. We ordered the appetizer plate and beef broccoli lunch special. Both for $ 16+. The egg drop soup was good. The appetizer plate is made mostly of fried food. It came with two large ribs drenched in a red sauce. The shrimp was a bit greasy. The beef broccoli was okay.

Moo’s Chinese Restaurant has been in Torrance forever but surprisingly this South Bay girl who’s always on the lookout for Chinese lunch specials has never tried this place. I don’t know why I’ve never gone before but finally did get to try this place out recently. Moo’s has daily lunch specials from 11:30 to 4pm. The lunch special prices are from $ 5.50 to $ 7.25 and come with soup, egg roll, fried wonton, fried rice and choice of one entrée. My friend and I tried the beef chow mein and the chicken with garlic sauce. The soup came out first. It was a egg flower soup and was served piping hot. Up next were the entrees. I noticed right away that the sizes of the portions were on the small side. They’re served on little plates that somewhat reminded me of homestyle type cooking. Taste wise the food was so-so. The garlic chicken had a somewhat sweet taste to it. It’s different from other garlic chicken entrees I’ve tried. There was not much of a garlic flavor to it. I liked the beef chow mein more. The noodles were soft and long and the beef toppings were tender. Our meals ended with fortune cookies and sliced oranges. To best describe how I feel about Moo’s I would say it’s just your average place. Fair prices and just ok taste. Out of everything I tried, the noodles were the best.
