The produce is ALWAYS fresh, the best okra I’ve ever found.
The meat is fresh and always cut the right way. They’re fast and efficient. It’s super clean and never smelly or unorganized. Love coming here. They’re the best! Love the family atmosphere and the way they operate.
The food (to go only) is amazing. The chicken tikka is out of this world and so is the charga. $ 6.99/order for everything but the charga is AMAZING!
Loving coming here for grocery and food. (BTW they cater and it’s beyond delicious.)

Good customer service. Mexican guy in deli was helpful and owner is super nice. Its not too expensive and they have lots of spices and other stuff. It’s a family owned business. Please go there and support them.

Great little family owned grocery store. I’ve only tried a couple menu items but they’ve all been great. I’m always on the lookout for good goat, and it’s rare to find. Sorry America, but ethnic dudes can cook much better goat!

it looks like a regular market when you get in but the food they cook its inside and itwas a most try so delicious the rice with chicken and the chiken kabob soo tender and juicy and they sell here in their market a honey with nuts soo good and a very good price the guy in charge was really nice to explain great service

Heard about this place from our daycare lady, and had to try. We had no idea it would be so close to our home. We usually go to Super Hatar Market in Torrance for all our grocery needs which is super far. Makkah Market is amazing and very reasonable pricing. It’s our number one go to place now! Everyone is very friendly!

Great food for the money. Sheek kaboob, biryani, nihari, all were delicious and given the prices and going less than 5 would be unfair to this business.

First time I learned that there is an expiration date on Arabic Breads too. Great choice for non-​alcoholic beverage.

A one-​stop shop for all South-​Asian and Mediterranean groceries. Fresh meat at low prices… and they even have take-​out food!

Makkah Market is one of the best shopping experiences that I have ever had! Like most shoppers today, my wife and I are very busy, and we don’t have a lot of time to waste in stores that don’t have excellent products and exceptional service. On the way back from visiting friends in Torrance last Sunday, my wife mentioned that we needed a few groceries. Since we were in an unfamiliar area, I checked out Unilocal and discovered that a new store had recently opened nearby.
We took a chance and hoped that we would find the items that we needed. It was late in the evening, and we were tired, but as soon as we entered Makkah Market, we KNEW this would be an exceptional experience. It was sparkling clean, brightly-​lit, well-​organized, and there were plenty of friendly, efficient employees ready to help us.
We only needed to buy a few things, so we initially picked up a small shopping basket rather than a cart. But it wasn’t long before we had to go back and get a large shopping cart for all the items we were picking up. We ended up shopping for a whole month’s worth of groceries before we knew it! And for less money than we expected!
We loved the fact the store offers an incredibly wide variety of Pakistani, Indian and Arabic grocery items. We saw all the spices that we normally enjoy in our food preparations: Brown cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, mace, pepper, cumin seeds, turmeric, garam masala and many, many more. We were able to buy fresh Halal meat at extremely affordable prices; there was fresh chapatti, roti and naan; and a wonderful array of chutney and sauces.
They even have a take-​out menu! We purchased mouthwatering chicken tikka and kebob rolls and were delighted with the high quality!
We were equally impressed with the staff. They were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. It was clear that customer service is a high priority.
Even though this is a new store Makkah Market operates with the efficiency of a well-​established market place. We met the owner Riaz, and it is clear that he is a «hands-​on» manager who has a clear vision of excellence. I’m sure that Makkah Market will be a tremendous success. It has all the earmarks of a store that will become the very best in the area!
