This location on Amapola is probably one of Kings’s Hawaiian’s offices. The reviews here should have been listed under King’s Hawaiian Bakery and Restaurant(on Sepulveda Blvd) or King’s Hawaiian-The Local Place(on Western Ave). Both are in Torrance, and both locations are worth checking out. Each location has some different offerings on their menu. For example, the char siu breakfast and club sandwiches are available at the main restaurant on Sepulveda but not at The Local Place. Beef stew is available at The Local Place but not at the main restaurant. One thing available at both locations that is to die for is the Paradise Delight cake. It’s so light and not too sweet. Love the whipped cream in it. If you prefer it without fruit, that’s their Paradise cake. Either way you cut it it’s the best cake ever!

Typical Hawaiian yumminess. Had the Katsu and Kaluha Pork. Very tasty. You will not be disappointed. Neither was dry-both meats had good flavor and juicy.

Celebrating here is part of our family’s tradition. The bakery is devine and the food in the restaurant is authentic Hawaiian cuisine. Need a taste of the islands, but can’t take time off for the 5 hour flight… Here you go. I highly recommend the Spicy Tuna Poke and the Kaluha Pork!

I ate here for the first time today. Expecting the normal holiday crowds, we got there before the anticipated lunch rush. Apparently there’s a breakfast and brunch rush as well. There were many groups outside waiting. It looked to be about a 45 minute wait. We put our names in and were seated within 15. It was a mother’s day miracle. The rolls are AMAZINGAMAZINGAMAZING. I had the hardest time resisting the urge to eat eight rounds of them. The waitress was pregnant but totally on it. She was peppy and attentive. At NO time was our party without drink. The food came out in record breaking time and it was just delicious. A macaroni and potato salad hybrid was like eating a piece of heaven. We hit the bakery and snagged a bag full of delicious goodies to take home. This establishment was 5 stars all the way around.
