Kathy’s Gallery of Collective Arts

I am on a cleaning kick today and as I dust the frames and clean the glass on more than a dozen pieces of art work, I can’t help but flash back and recall the process of selecting each frame and deciding on matting, etc. In each case Colleen, with her eye for color, structure, movement and style guided me into choosing the perfect frame to serve as a background for, or to enhance, or to «finish» each piece. More importantly, she helped me avoid selecting beautiful frames which overpowered or detracted from the art work. The best compliment of her work comes from the artist of one of my favorite pieces — when he saw it hanging in my home he said that he couldn’t have designed a more perfect frame himself.
Besides being creative and professional in her craft, Colleen is a lovely person. It is a pleasure doing business with her.
