ZEROSTARS. HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLE. The guy who claimed to be the owner is an idiot. He gave us such a hard time over an order of fries said his cook left. So the owner cant make fries. And the second nine came he kicked us out. This place needs to be shut down horrible service horrible food we dinned in and he gave us paper places that soaked up all the oil from the food and got so nasty and paper utensils. WTFISTHAT. Horrible horrible place.

I spoke to the owner for a bit while waiting for my order. He was kind and recommended what to order, so I took his recommendations– we had an interesting conversation I enjoyed. When I got home with the food I was pleasantly surprised– the chicken was tender and very good. I didn’t care too much for the garlic naan– it had way too much garlic on it and wasn’t as fluffy as I think naan should be. However, the rice was great and the portions were huge– you get your money’s worth here for sure. The problem with this place is that there are too many options and only a few of them are actually Pakistani. He should do away with the burgers and fries and offer more fare for those don’t want to eat American.

Had to stop in and try.. glad I did! The food is AMAZING! the place is small but comfortable. The man who took my order was very pleasant and explained each dish I asked about. Definitely making this place one of my regulars.

This hole in the wall is the best Indian — Pakistani place you can find in Torrance. We and our best friends have been eating here for the last 10 years. You need to order to go. The biryani(Karachi style) and the Kabab platter are simply to die for. There is a slight consistency problem but on the best days Karachi will beat any place hands down. Should definitely give it a try.

Beef Shawarma had no flavor and hummus tasted like flour… I compared it to Lazeez and its totally different. Lazeez was alot better.

Can’t say anything bad about this place. We ordered a beef kebab & chicken masala(came w rice & grilled veggies, lettuce). Both dishes came almost simultaneously and were ready in 10 min tops which was pretty good. I ate plain nan with cucumber yogurt and it was great. The owner was cool enough to ask if we enjoyed everything & brought us boxes to go. Overall place seemed okay :)

Avoid going there, tables were dirty, guy that took my order was grumpy. Food tastes like it’s been microwaved, they forgot to give me my pita bread so i didn’t eat my humus since there is no point on eating it without the bread. First time going there and believe it will be my last, food has no flavor either… this place sucks!

The food is quite decent, tastes fresh and quite real. portions were quite big. Garlic Naan was very good. Location and ambiance are not much to write about: probably two stars at best. But, hey, this is economically depressed East Torrance: Carson next to Western so do not expect too much… Would return for a quickie lunch, take out or a simple, quick dinner.

Really good chicken and meat with some tasty rice. I love how they have some salsas as well to enjoy with the food that really made it delicious for me

First time here: On the Mediterranean tip: Garlic naan(made fresh but a little burnt) Chicken Tikka(not bad) w rice(super soft) Salad w just lime(eh, least it’s fresh) Fries(ok) First and foremost, we were looking for Cuban and this is where Google took us(not good google). But we tried it anyhow. Food was ok. Not like your typical Mediterranean flavors we’re used to. Sauces didn’t really have much flavor but again made fresh. Not a comeback spot.

When I first saw this place, I thought«mmmm… Mediterranean food!» So I got the number 2. It took them a while to get my order ready. For 8.99 it only consisted of chicken, rice and a salad. The salad came with a dressing which was super bland. Chicken was bland also. Rice, well it was the best out of the 3 items. It also had a roasted tomato and jalapeño. I regret coming here and paying 10 bucks for food that had no taste. I doubt I’ll be back.

I either just ate expired hummus or this is an acquired taste. Bought food for three; $ 38. Friday at lunch; empty. Saturday at dinner; empty. Monday night; are they even open? Usually no one in a restaurant is a sign. A sign I should have heeded. Avoid.

I always wanted to try this place and I finally did. I had the beef sharawma, and it had no flavor or taste. The serving size was small which made it way over priced for $ 8.50. Avoid this place. Its over rated.

I’m a little disappointed because my boyfriend and I always drove by this place and it looked good! It’s clean on the inside, decent service, but it’s all about the food… food is good but no «pow» in your face flavor. It’s clean eating if you like everything plain. The green sauce was watered down and not too much flavor. They served you a thousand island dressing along with a Asian spicy sauce(which saved most of the plate) nothing special. It was fun to try but not a second go. Also they ran out of falafel… We ordered the chicken Shawarma wrap(dry and needed extra sauce) And chicken and beef kabob(decent but lacked flavor and heart) I would’ve rather had a in-n-out burger or some phở…

The food was good and flavorful and the prices are reasonable. Everything was made fresh and the service was friendly. My coworkers and I are glad we chose this place and are already talking about going back soon.

Used to be a great place. Not anymore. Good quality a thing of the past. Quality has drastically deteriorated over the years. Adding insult to injury they go ‘closed’ on random days.

I love the food at karachi Tanduri. Everything is freshly prepared and awesome. I had eaten many different Pakistani Indian restaurant. My favourite all the time is karachi tanduri I’m so lucky now they have 2 location serving Anaheim too. Very close to Disney land. Owner/chef/manage whatever you call him have good attitude treat customers with respect. comes out to table and ask how is everything or if he can make anything to make your dinner more enjoyable. Great service. I think hotels around Disney land should consider him as a blessing. You go karachi Tanduri you win my heart and many many mores.

Normally I’m a reasonable reviewer but this place was pretty terrible. First off, the location looks like a shack behind a large tree. It took me a while to find it(I called the owner and even he couldn’t properly describe it to me. Go figure). Anyways, we were the only ones in the restaurant, which is equally as abysmal on the inside. The restaurant’s floor is slightly sloped which was so annoying and made it so hard to eat. Now, for the food. The gola kabobs were decent, nothing special, as was the chicken tikka masala, although it tasted more like butter chicken to me. The chicken tikka(dry) were severely undercooked, as was the beef curry. The portions were not that big for the price, and they didn’t even give us free water! They gave us water bottles and made us pay for it which was completely ridiculous. Safe to say, I will not be returning here!
