Jack in the Box

Slowest jack in the box I’ve been to. On an off time waiting about 15 mins for a walk In order. It’s no In n Out, and there’s no one inside. Drive through isn’t crowded. I feel there shouldn’t be any reason for a 15 min wait for fast food.

I go to Jack in the Box for iced coffee and Oreo shakes. This location does not have any shakes at 5:24 in the evening, it’s small and out of the way– which makes it hard to get back onto Sepulveda Boulevard. You also can’t hear shit out of the loudspeaker in the drive thru, they really should get that fixed.

Dirty, unsanitary and unacceptable customer service. my family went 8:40 pm on a friday night and first thing I see is a chair holding the front entrance door open. I think to myself, ‘weird’ but im hungry n so are my kids so we go inside. we order our food and when the cashier ask «for here or to go» we say «for here» meaning to dine in, right? anyways. we wait for our food and I notice a worker brings in the chair that was holding the door open and closes n looks like she is locking the door. its not even 9:00 pm yet. why are u closing the door? I see they start to close 1 register. our food is ready about 10 min later (8:50 pm) n its all bagged. my hubby asks, why is it bagged for? I told u I wanted to eat it here. a different cashier says, oh its because we’re closing you have to leave. my hubs said, if u told me that we couldn’t eat it here I would have not dined here in the first place. the rude cashier calls the original cashier that rung us up n my hubby says, «didnt I tell u I wanted to eat here? you never mentioned u were closing» she seems scared by the question n says, «oh u can stay. we only said that because we put ur food in the bags instead of on the trays. u can stay and eat» umm… does that make any sense? im annoyed but we sit and eat there… all the while we are eating, I notice about 4 seperate groups of customers banging on the door. They’re locked out because the chick who removed the chair that was holding the door really did lock it! who closes the shop before 9:00? they passed up 4 different groups of customers! if they spent what I had then they lost out on $ 120.00. now I worked in retail before and I was always told not to pass up a sale. Big NO NO. anywhoosies, so me n my family is eating our food. its probably around 9:05 and this family or party as I like to call them, show up. they’re about a group of 11 ppl and they stand outside the restaurant all calm. The same chick who locked the door goes up and unlocks it. WOW. is this not fishy or wat? anyways the group of ppl place their orders one by one. I hear a little boy say he wants two milkshakes. so they all place their order and NO MONEY WAS EXCHANGED. THEY WERE EATING FOR FREE. not only did that annoy me but the group of ppl looked at me n my family like «what the hell r u doing here?» as if we were univited to their stealing of food festivity. I normally mind my own business n dont let ignorant ppl bother me, but seeing thats why the workers were rude to us is because they didnt want us to witness their criminal behavior really disgusted me. I didn’t care that their party was catered and paid by jack n box. I was pissed they treated us like we were nothing. I will never dine here again. I hope u close down like the carls jr down the street did. I actually liked the carls jr. I was sadden it closed down. I was so upset with Jack that I filed a complaint with the 1800 customer service line. those workers need to be retrained properly or even better– REPLACED.

This location has the worst speaker system outside EVER. it sounds horrible and it’s absolutely frustrating. I’m sure all of the people that work here think it’s a bunch of idiots driving through the drive thru. Really, it’s because you can’t understand a thing they are saying. It’s not the employees, it’s the outside muffled horrible speaker.

I have always been a loyal customer to this location of Jack In The Box and have been coming here since a teenager. Last week I decided to skip a healthy meal and order something to grub from jacks instead, oh did i regret that later. It was around 11pm and all i ate all day was a bowel of cereal so I ordered 2 jr bacon cheeseburgers and 4 tacos.6/7 hours later I woke up in the morning with terrible stomach cramps and ran to the toilet to throw up. All I tasted was the food from jacks. The pain in my stomach wouldn’t stop and I kept throwing up and then suddenly I had diarrhea. I recognize these symptoms quickly cause ive had them before and understood it was food poison. I was sick for two days and I still get minor aches in my stomach. I will never go back to that disgusting place again!.. I am going to report it to the health inspectors as well.

Had the bacon butter burger and it was absolutely disgusting, the meat was gray, beef patties are not supposed to be gray. My wife had a regular small hamburger that was ridiculously empty, no sauce no nothing, just a patty and the bun. We were so disgusted! Our money was refunded but that had to be the only positive in this ordeal. We will not eat at Jack in the box again.
Gray meat patties? Yuk!

Poor service each time I go, drive never fails to make a mistake on our food. Maybe if they would pay attention at the speaker box instead of just talking (which we can hear). Horrible!!! And when asked to speak to a (manager) who was going to help me fix my issue it came out worse didnt even place my name in the book to redeem a correct order. Get it together Jack!

If you are looking consistency you’re definitely going to find it at this location. They will mess up on you’re order every single time! It does not fail I keep going back because it’s 2 blocks away from where I live, but never again!
Not only that but they will always top it off with terrible service.

This used to be the Best Jack in the Box in the area but those days are apparently long gone.
I ordered the spicy Sriraccha burger, ultimate cheeseburger, Tacos, and Egg rolls.
4 of the 6 Jalapenos in the spicy burger were all stems. (see photo)
The ultimate burger has shrunk in size to the size and diameter of a Mcdonalds cheeseburger (see photo)
Fortunately the Tacos and Egg rolls were still alright so managed to salvage a meal.
To top it off, when I wanted to give my feedback to corporate, I notice the receipt is illegible (see photo)
Needless to say, here’s one more fast food joint that’s gone down the drain.

I enjoy their chicken burgers never been a big fan if their breakfast but overall the food is good and the service was fast. Went in at 7: am all the employees are wide awake and happy!

Jack in the Box is ok.
This location happens to be very close to where I live. So when we’re in a hurry, we come here.
The food is ok. The fries are very great though.
Overall, JITB is an average fast food restaurant.

Overall rating for service and food is 3 stars. Unfortunately, we’ve been eating a lot of Jack in the Box breakfast food. The selections are tasty and fattening. A couple of times, I felt that unmistakable crunch of egg shell when eating a breakfast sandwich. Today was the worst ever! I could actually see a piece of egg SHELL cooked into my egg. Gross. Don’t bother calling, they don’t answer their phone. Today, they deserve ½ a star. I am taking a break from this location. Too bad for them because I am a good customer.

I have been making many late night visits here lately as i have been working the late shift and my tum tum is always rumbling when I get off.
Along with their new snazzy updated logo and façade Jacks service has gone through some major upgrading. I have gotten the best service lately from Jack in the Box and I am quite impressed.
Extremely thorough efficient and super polite service. Even at the wee hours of the morning. They double check your order several times, they ask how their service was and they tell you thank you and that they hope you enjoy. I have even been getting a good night and a safe drive home. Now that’s service! And not the kind you expect from a huge chain let alone in the drive thru but I’m happy they are dishing out service of that level.
Bravo Jack and keep up the good work!
Those 99 cents chicken sammies… you know the ones that remind you of the ones you would get at the cafeteria in elementary school, yeah those ones… they get me every time.
Oh and I LOVE that they have Frank’s Red’s Hot Sauce!
And you can’t beat the Two Tacos for 99 cents.
And their Eggrolls… Seriously good.
And…just kidding! Well, I do like the Jalapeño Poppers from time to time.
Oooo and their hash browns…
