Fox Drug Of Torrance

Upon recommendation from my doctor because CBS was unable to order my proper medications within a week, I was suggested to go to Fox drugs, where less than 12 hours ago via phone I was ensured both of my medicines were in stock and could be picked up the next morning. upon arrival, I met an extremely rude pharmacist (Meenesh) who avoided my questions, was rude, acted as if he was God. And informed me despite whatever other pharmacist said, including a note he told me would be left for the morning shift, was not present at all, a clear lie. I will likely not return once their facility is no longer needed by me, but my complaints will include filing for fraudulent information, and being of the utmost unprofessional demeanor. anyone with a decent sense of civility should avoid this place at all costs.

I came in here mainly to use their Western Union service. I had just driven from the other side of Torrance, as the other place had their WU service shut down last month. I drove into old town Torrance, and found my way into this pharmacy.
The WU window is at the back of the place, on the left side. There were only two people in front of me, and I was attended to in just five minutes. I’ve sent money through WU before, so it wasn’t a hassle at all. I had the person’s full name, city, state, and country. Via text, I sent the person the same information, and the money went through seamlessly.
The fee to sent money depends on the amount. I didn’t stop to inquire about their rates, but I sent only $ 50 which cost me only $ 5 in fees. This was international, too, so sending money within the US might be less.
The people at the WU window and on the pharmacy floor were extra nice. They have a very mom and pops feel, and hospitality that other businesses should learn from. A great experience, I will be back the next time I need to send money out. Thanks for a great experience.

Incredibly inconvenient refund policy. I purchased a phone charger and night light and when they didn’t work. I went back to return them. The lady at the back said to contact the manufacturer directly.

Love the Family Owned spots! Pharmacists were thorough with my medication and very personable with my wife and I. This has become our spot for over the counter and prescription needs! Can’t say enough about our experiences

I wandered in here after purchasing a cupcake next door at the Torrance Bakery. This place is cute, y’all. It feels very much like you’d want your actual neighborhood pharmacy to feel, yknow? like the pharmacist probably knows everyone by name for real. Cute little decorative items for sale near the front, some general convenience things in the middle and a great pharmacy towards the back. Really nice people working there too, genuinely small-​town but in the best way possible

Love fox drugs! Everyone in there is soo nice and helpful. They remember who you are when you walk in and always have a smile on their faces. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Love them :))

I can remember coming here with mother as a kid to pay our utlity bills. Waiting in line, getting into mischief using the display shelves as a jungle gym. Opps sorry mom because of me you would usually get in trouble and as for me well mom, your exact words were always; «just wait till we get home!» as she smiled and held my hand all the way to the little booth. Standing in line as adult just brings a smile to my face. Awwww how we grow up so fast. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was climbing up the display shelves on a mission of «lets see how many shelves i can climb until i knock something over’ now im standing perfectly still trying to figure out what my account number is to pay my Gas BIll no wait Electricity or both. Im really surprise how they kept eveything looking just like back in the good old days. A very cute little Drug store. they have the cutest knick knacks, gifts on the go, fans, school supplies just about everything which gets me everytime im waiting my eyes just wonders around the room. Some lucky item always get to go home with me. This is where i bought my Fan which works perfectly well after having it for 2 years. Awww i will see you on my next bill paying trip!

Fox Drugs is the cutest little independent drugstore in an older part of Torrance that is like taking a walk back in time. I found it because they have a little kiosk in the back where you can pay your utility or cable TV bills – great for when you’ve lost track of when they were due and don’t want to be late. They carry cute little gift items all over the store – just browse up and down the aisles at your leisure. Don’t miss the adorable beaded velvet cell phone bags in the display case in the front of the store.
