Dae’na Frazier

Dae’na is the only beautician I come to see. I have very course, overly curly, medium density hair and I come to get deep conditioned & pressed. My mom has course hair with thin waves & she gets her blonde hair color touched up. She uses only the best quality products & has years of experience. Let her play with your hair and color. You will walk out feeling like a celebrity from Beverly Hills

Very unprofessional. I paid $ 300 to Dae’na and asked for a side part. This is what I received. (After spending over 5 hours bc she had two other clients scheduled the same time). In addition, all the tracks in front are loose. Please do not waste your time or money.

I booked my first appointment with Dae’na this past week and saw her on yesterday (Saturday) for a full install with closure and color. Although she says she has 20+ years in the industry, her work was terrible at best. I just can’t imagine those 20 years including weave installations. I struggled to write this review because while she was friendly, her work sucked. Here are a list of my issues with my services:
1) Dae’na colored my weave and attempted to explain the process very well. However, the hair came out looking a blotchy mess. There were chucks of really yellow blonde pieces that didn’t fit in very well with the rest of the color. I expressed my concerns about it and she said that she would fix it in two weeks if I was still unhappy in an attempt to speed along my process :(
2) I had a lace closure that I wanted to have a side part. When she installed the closure there was no part. When I expressed concern about this, she said that I should take a steel end comb and do it myself until I was happy with the outcome. *sighs* I never imagined having to fix my own closure. It looked and still looks a hot mess.
3) On the phone with Dae’na, she told me that the install was $ 150 and color would be extra depending on whether I got a full head of color or not. She asked me to pay in advanced and when I asked her about price she said $ 300!!! I got a full install, 1 bundle and a closure colored. I’m so disappointed.
4) After coloring the hair, it was obvious that the hair wasn’t reverting back to its curly state due to the color. She deep conditioned the closure but not the other bundle so as of about 7 pm last night, I am literally walking around with a bush on my head. Now, granted, this was my second install of the hair, but I didn’t have this problem previously. I should probably mention that on top of my $ 300 service, she tried to sell me a conditioning kit for another $ 25 as she noticed how ruined the hair was.
5) She didn’t use braiding hair or a net when doing the sew in foundation so I’m sure these tracks will slide out in the next week or two.
6) I blatantly told her that I did not want my pictures taken yesterday after she completed her services, she brushed it off and told me to smile. Why would she want to show this mess of a style afterwards anyway??? I couldn’t wait to get out of her chair.
I’m so disappointed and to make matters worse, I am still looking for another stylist who can start this entire process over again. I could cry right now.

I came in with little hope for magic, but she is an angel and worked wonders with my compromised hair. It’d been 4 months since I had anything done. I have been dreaming of long beautiful, well manicured hair and she made it happen!!! So excited!!! Now I can go out in style and confidence thanks to her work!!!

I had my first (of hopefully many) with Dea’na, I booked an appointment with her through group on, we talked about the condition of my hair, how I style it, what products I use, as she washed cut and styled my hair she was very professional and gave me all kinda of little tips on how to help keep my long curly hair moisturized. I really appreciated the care and quality she provided me, she has over 25 years experience in the hair industry and you could really tell
She gave me a very good hair cut And my hair was sooo silky and soft as I left, I’m in love, I can not wait until next time
