You walk in and they remember just how you like your toast, coffee, ect. Very quaint, down home cooking. Been coming here for years. Love the Loco moco. On the weekends they make a Korean type bbq over rice with an egg… ooohhhh to die for. Love the staff. This is a gem.

Love this little gem. It’s always a good place for breakfast– has a old, hometown family feel with great customer service and delicious food. The menu has many options and reasonable prices. I come here for the biscuits and gravy and traditional French toast and eggs. It’s never too packed here, even during Sunday brunch.

Solid 3 stars for me. Ordered steak and eggs. Steak was great and properly cooked. hashbrowns and eggs needed more time on the heat. Just OK.

Love this place! My family and I go all the time and it never disappoints! Youki and Mary are the sweetest and youki has a ton of funny jokes. Their bran muffins are the best

Came here for breakfast with my partner during our break from work. It is a quaint little place, but inside the café has a homey feel to it. Everyone who works there makes you feel right at place and makes you feel as if you belong. There are fun, sarcastic signs to read while you wait for your food, not that your food takes a long time to come out. They have daily specials and their apple butter is OFFTHEHOOK. It’s absolutely delicious. I got the Loco Moco and my partner got the chicken fried steak with eggs. He didn’t enjoy his because he was expecting something else, although his food looked really good. Mine was pretty good too but nothing that special. All it is was a hamburger patty with rice and gravy and eggs. Nothing extraordinary. Their coffee is really fresh though which I thoroughly enjoyed. I enjoyed their apple butter, it was wonderful. All in all, if I ever do come back(if i’m in the area again) I’ll have to try their specials. It was a pretty good place to have breakfast.

After my several passes by the Country Touch Café I had to stop in to check it out and boy am I glad I did. The food here is definitely home made and makes me feel great every time I come in. The service is great and I am always a happy camper when coming in for breakfast or even lunch. I usually get the chicken fried steak and eggs which is always perfect, but I came in for lunch and had the Bacon Cheeseburger and I was amazed! Totally great food, I devoured it. It was fresh and light, not like eating at a fast food joint where everything is frozen. The food comes out quick and while you wait the staff keeps you company and sits and chats for awhile. It is always a great place to eat and stop in.

Country like feel to it, and it’s close to home so it’s really convenient for us. It is owned by Koreans but that’s not a problem they are really friendly and try to make it like home. They accept cash and card. Unsure if they have the newest systems for Apple Pay but cash is king here.

Called in a breakfast order.3 sausage with bisquits and gravy plates for pick up in 15 minutes. I get there and the lady tells me they ran out of bisquits but they’ll substitue toast for no cost. Hmmm ok why the hell didn’t they call me back and let me know before i left work to pick up and what makes you think i want toast as a substitution for bisquits and gravy??! By the way for the inconvenience l should have had it comp’d for your failure to know what you have and dont have in your freakin kitchen! Yet they charge me full price for the 3 plates which came out to $ 30 and some change. Not only that they forget the toast on one of the orders! When i called back the lady acted like it was no big deal and said if you want you can swing by and pick the toast up. How about you swing on a pole onto the freeway you freakin idiot! ZEROSTARS

~~~A South Bay Brekkie & Lunch Diner~~~ This small hole-in-the-wall diner’s been around for a very long time. I’ve been hesitant to write my review here because I had hoped there would be some improvements over the years. My recent visit here was by default. I wanted to introduce my friend to The Pan in Gardena. When we arrived, there was absolutely no parking spaces available in their tiny lot or on the streets. We also noticed a line of people waiting outside and we both said«Oh Hellz No!» This diner’s not too far from The Pan and they also have limited parking spaces but we didn’t have trouble finding a spot. Customer service had always been great. The interior space matches the name of this restaurant. It is a little outdated with a homey country touch. Here comes the constructive criticisms. Let’s start with the coffee. It’s definitely watered down. Brewing stronger coffee goes a long way. For example, the restaurant I mentioned above. I enjoyed their strong brew and found out they were brewing Yuban! My friend ordered The Big #1. It came with 2 eggs, 2 bacons, 1 sausage, and French Toast. It wasn’t very big at all compared to other places and comparing the prices. The bacon came out too crispy. I ordered the country fried steak. It came with potatoes, two eggs, gravy, and toast for $ 11.45. My country fried steak was good but for the price, I’m expecting a meatier patty(e.g. Heritage Family Pantry in Lakewood). I’m all about supporting local small businesses. In my opinion, either spruce up the portions or lower the prices to compete with other breakfast/lunch diners. It’s cool you offer Loco Moco and Bulgogi plates on the weekends. My last few visits had been more on the disappointing side, comparing your diner with others, overall. Maybe someday that will change.
Awesome old school diner look… CHECK Great Customer Service… CHECK AMZING Fresh, home cooked food… CHECK!!! This place is the best. I’ve been driving by forever and my Coach from Brood 9 Martial Arts Dimitri told me about it, and so finally went in and was not disappointed at all. This is the best diner for Breakfast around. The apple butter was so good on the fresh baked bread. Real potatoes, eggs and had Steak and all were fantastic. Heck even the coffee was good without cream and sugar. The waitresses also were great and make you feel at home right away. I can’t wait to come back and bring more people.
This place is great because it’s a 5 min walk from my house. :-) I do enjoy the biscuit and gravy and the lunch specials are worth the price. It’s a good place to come by on Sundays. It’s chill.
The omelet that I normally get here was just as average today as it can be, must be a Friday or someone did not wake up on the right side of the bed… I had to do about a 20 second evaluation of it before I started eating it. Yup. I normally dig in and eat it like a machine, but not today. I kept looking at it and inspecting it. They forgot to put the sauce that normally goes on it when I started to eat after my wife told me there is nothing wrong with it. The waitress realize it too late and then brought the sauce in a bowl for me scoop onto the omelet. Someone needs to do QA before presenting it to me. Again, I had my 6th sense that there was something different about the omelet. It was still missing other thhings inside the omelet, I pretty positive about it. I could be wrong. It looked disappointing as it looked like something I could of put together @ home. I usually don’t pay $ 10 for things I can cook at home that looked like this hot mess today. But I just ate it after the wife told me to eat it and not look at it funny. I was going to complain to the waitress about it or ask her exactly what is going on here with this omelet. My wife always gets the homemade corn beef hash which is the best ever. Nuff said.
Gotta support local small businesses! I live right next door to this place and I always end up here when I am hungover. I always get the country fried steak and sometimes the loco moco. This place definitely has the home feel so the food does not taste all done up or fit for commercial taste. This is as if grandma cooked you breakfast on a Sunday morning. which grandma now says you are too old and she is too tired so you must come here to get your breakfast. All in all, service is quick and friendly, prices are okay and the décor is super cute haha.
Come here twice now and it’s very mediocre. Eggs were burnt, bacon was flavorless, pancake was okay. Please please go to any of the local Hawaiian places for your Loco Moco– if you’re getting it here, BLESS. Décor is quaint. Bathrooms were rough. No AC. Besides it being full of people and giving off that Country Breakfast vibe, there were not many redeeming qualities. Sorry.
I’ve been here twice already for breakfast and the first time here I really loved it. It’s a small and cozy breakfast/brunch type restaurant and it feels very homey. I believe the owner is a Korean lady but they serve all American breakfast items plus a few plates that were Korean dishes. Not only do i love the homey atmosphere but also the food was pretty good — the first time I had an omelette with mushroom, cheese and sausage with potatoes and the second time around I had their regular breakfast combo — sausage, eggs and potatoes and whole wheat toast with a good cup of coffee. The service was super friendly and welcoming. The parking is small in front but there is two hour parking on the back — which at first I thought was just for the residents but you may park there for 2 hours. I like how it’s not very busy and it’s pretty quick. I wouldn’t making a tradition of coming here every Friday for breakfast — it seems like a lot of the people who were dining there were regulars as well.
Bf & I were looking for a place near home for a quick brunch. During our quick Unilocal search, Bulgogi omelette caught his eye and off we went. Not much for a storefront, but when you walk in, it looks like you ended up at an antique shop with a classic diner feel. Menu is pretty typical diner style with 1 exception: weekend offerings of bulgogi omelette or bulgogi + egg w/rice(~$ 11). Comes with a side of potatoes or applesauce and toast or muffin. He got the bulgogi omelette & I got the Country Touch omelette(bacon, onions, tomatoes, guac). Two things stand out for me: you can sub your toast/muffin for biscuits and gravy(no extra charge) and free house-made chunky salsa to go with your breakfast. There was definitely plenty of food on the table and it tasted pretty good. Service was very friendly and you can tell that they have a lot of regulars. — parking: sucks(extremely tiny lot or street) — Credit card minimum: $ 10
This café is definately not glamorous on the outside but if you’re looking for a small Asian American breakfast café, in Torrance this would be the place to go. I ordered the bulgogi and rice with a fried egg on top and it was pretty darn good. I tried my fiancé’s omelet and it was mediocre. The ladies here were nice and warm as well. We came in on a Saturday morning with a group for eight with no prior reservations and there was no wait which was a plus! But would probably not go out of my way to dine here.
