Jeff Benedict at Beach Cities Pool and Spa has been servicing our home’s pool and spa for more than a year and he’s been great. I’d initially managed the pool chemicals myself but I wasn’t doing a very good job — I have a saline pool and there’s more maintenance involved than I’d realized. I reached out for pool service providers and met two different guys, neither of whom knew as much about my pool and its needs than me, which was a little disconcerting. I was recommended to Jeff by Redondo Pool Supplies (a great store) and it’s been 100% smooth sailing. Jeff’s a South Bay guy and he understands how various compounds interact and degrade. At least as importantly, he understands the mechanics and piping of a pool with a integrated hot tub. He comes on the same day each week consistently, the pool looks great, his billing is always coherent and he’s great at responding to a text on a weekend when something wonky happens to the pool heater. I recommended Jeff to a neighbor and she recently commented that it’s been similar smooth-​sailing for her. I have only good things to write, so I can only give five stars!
