Great local coffee roasters that have been around for years. Finally made it to the new location when back visiting earlier this year. Love getting my almond milk latte here! Great food too! They also have another location in KC Crossroads and like to visit here often. Good to see Topeka finally getting trendy. Support local.

Interested in visiting a nationally recognized roaster that produces some of the best coffee beans in the United States? Look no further than Topeka, Kansas and PT’s Coffee Roasting Company.
This is where the art of coffee roasting takes place which has put PT’s owner Jeff Taylor & crew on the map as some of the best roasters in America. The roasting facility has been known to give guided tours and my advice would be to call ahead before heading to Topeka and visiting the roasting facility.
The building itself is fairly indiscreet. Unlike the Roasterie’s facility in Kansas City with the vintage airplane on the roof, PT’s is located in an industrial park across the street from Forbes Field Airport. Don’t let the looks fool you. The inside of the roasting facility is quite impressive. In fact, PT’s has hosted world class Barista Competitions at the Roasting facility. Some of the world’s top ranked Barista’s have visited the roasting site. Another bonus has been the appearance by some of the world’s best coffee farmers from around the globe.
The inside of PT’s roasting facility in my opinion far surpasses the appearances of any roastinging complex I’ve ever visited. Hard to explain, but you don’t get that corporate stale vibe inside PT’s. It has an industrial appearance accented by beautiful wood artwork & designs. Jeff Taylor (PT’s owner) was a former professional photographer and you immediately recognize this while visiting his coffee shop and the roasting plant. Burlap bags full of unroasted green coffee is a sight to see. The roasting machines you will see have produced numerous coffee varieties that have garnered many awards for PT’s. The roasting process is quite impressive to watch and a true art form.
Count me in as a huge and loyal fan of everything PT’s. The company really «get’s it» with everything they do.
