It took for ever to be sat. Over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged I was sitting at the table then server finally came back.
Placed order for UNSWEET tea and about choked on the sweet tea that was delivered.
Drank that and was with out a drink for 10 plus minutes.
I miss Perkins from living in MN but this one is a train wreck. They have signs up they are re modeling soon and selling all the fixtures table tops etc. how about focus on the guests that are here. I am in Topeka for 6 weeks and won’t be back here.

So far the worst service we have experienced in the state of Kansas. And probably the worst Perkins we have visitors nation wide, our waitress is rude and throws things at us, doesn’t listen well to orders, we have watched the wait staff leave tables unattended, and the table next to us, empty but still full of plates is still not completely cleared, but everyone is enjoying the chat time behind the counter. All in all, not very impressed!

Stay away.
The service was shockingly bad! Although the waitress was very nice, telling the manager she forgot our order, messed up our order and the didn’t give us our ticket really didn’t help. No discount, no apology from the manager.
BUT. Even worse was the food. You know how you can tell something has been microwaved because as it cools, it hardens… Disgusting! Seriously you are a restaurant. I can nuke my own food at home.

I ordered 4 dozen Perkins cookies for a party several days in advance. When I got them home and opened up the boxes I was very disappointed to see that they were all way overbaked. They should have had plenty of time to make more but instead just sent the overbaked nasty dried out ones!

We ate breakfast here on 8÷8÷2014. Upon entering, I thought the place smelled dirty. I ordered eggs benedict. It was hands down the worst thing I’ve been served in a restaurant EVER. It was barely warm, the eggs were fried, not poached and had the consistency of a Frisbee. The hollandaise was AWFUL. We had a table outside the kitchen and could see the filth under the pick-up table. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The service was slow as if the cooks could only make one horrible plate at a time. The waitress was fine.
I will never go back.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. The service was terrible and my food was undercooked and made me sick. Our server actively avoided us, and I had to find a hostess to pay my check.

Saturday, When our food arrived both of our plates were cold. When we sent the plates back they returned with same plates. Even the eggs
had not been remade. We were told the owner actually cooked our food. We were also told by staff our food quality suffered due to the fact they had a large group being served.

This place has some of the best food around, especially compared to IHOP. Milkshakes are wonderful and I don’t even usually like milkshakes!

This is a nice Perkins. I met my grandmother with my husband on a Sunday morning. I saw the parking lot looked packed but to my surprise my grandma had already procured a booth.
Our waitress was friendly and prompt.
I ordered the country biscuit breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled, 1 biscuit w/gravy, bacon, & hashbrowns & coffee. Healthy, right? I splurged.
The restaurant is kinda loud but it WAS Sunday morning so it’s completely forgivable.
The food itself came out just fine and was very tasty.
The main problem I have is that I had problems in the bathroom starting about an hour after the meal. This is probably, maybe, not Perkin’s fault. Eggs are hit or miss with me but this was pretty severe. I need to just cut eggs out of my diet but I love them too much!
In sum, it’s a nice Perkins and I’d go back (no eggs though).
