Horrible customer service. The assistant manager in charge is extremely rude. First of I was greeted by a lady behind the counter. I proceeded to explain my situation(An online return) after hearing my whole story while working on her task at hand she explained that she was going to have to call a manager.(Jim Talley gives customer service depending on your race) I waited for over 10 minutes, and this was on a Wednesday afternoon with a very empty store. I am going to skip the whole interaction with the manager because it is not worth my time. Overall he didn’t bother to ask question before coming up with a load of excuses as to why he couldn’t return my unopened items. I really wish these people focused on their job: CUSTOMERSERVICE.

Another disappointing visit to Office Depot. I’d go to another office supply store but this location is so darn convenient. I have 2 visits for comments. Visit 1: 5 people standing in line to check out at the copy center. Why wasn’t there a regular register open? There were 2 people back there and one was sitting, watching the other one work. Once another employee was over in the regular register area, he couldn’t get the first drawer to operate. Everyone moved over to another register. Then the employee was allowed to use our mailed coupon. We had to wait for authorization. Visit 2 this week: Went in to find one thing… note cards. Those little suckers are hard to find just walking down the main aisle and looking down to find them. I noticed when I walked in, 3 employees were gathered around a register talking. I figured since I was the only customer in the store around 4 pm on a Tuesday, they would eventually walk down the aisle and help me. I found the hiding notecards, went to pay, and two employees were still standing around gabbing. When the clerk asked if I found everything OK, there was no response or recognition of my problems when I said«Finally, I did.» He just routinely asked the question without acknowledging the response. For so few customers, the employees don’t seem to prioritize helping the customers that do come inside to purchase something. Their social time seems to be more important than helping me locate and pay for my products. This is why when I have a $ 50 order, I just place it online and have it delivered to the house for FREE. No frustration from lack of customer service.

Clean, well lit and a decent selection… but the prices are no bargain.
