Yet another competent Topeka 3 star establishment. Bread is decent and meats are sliced to order. Crew is friendly and efficient. Certainly a step up from Subway a few blocks south.

I ate here for the first time last week. I had a Philly type cheese steak sandwich with chipotle mayo on herbed bread. It was amazing. Bread was very fresh and sandwich had so much flavor. I will be returning.

This is the first time I had ever been to a Jersey Mikes, let alone heard of the place. The people at my work go here for lunch 2 – 3 times a week so I figured it would be pretty good food, and I was right after I ate here. I ordered a Reuben which was delicious, the only downside is that the food was kind of expensive for a sub shop. I also liked the fact recently they donated to Susan G. Komen for every drink a customer purchased.

I had never heard of Jersey Mike’s until it came out as a Groupon special one day. So, in the spirit of trying new things, I purchased one so I could try it out. Their subs are generally the standard, but offer hot and cold. Each are made fresh on fresh bread that is super super tasty! The prices might be a little high for a sandwich in an area that’s trying to become revitalized but the service has always been stellar. Not to mention the place is packed every day at lunch so they must be doing something right! If I’m down on Kansas Ave. looking for a sandwich I’m still going to schlotzsky’s, but for the sub varitey, Jersey Mike’s wins hands down.
