AT&T U-verse

Well, apparently they hire clueless temporary employees to sell you Uverse door to door, we were offered a good deal a year ago 99 $/​month for internet (45mbps), dvr and tv with on demand and HBO. After constant slow speeds and a glitching dvr box we finally decided to have someone come check things out. When we did, apparently there was something done wrong that affected our entire block! Supposedly that «fixed» it… we still were only getting 26−30mbps at most of internet and had them come back multiple times after… even having one guy who claimed he was the best at the store because he was the only IT servicer or something ridiculously unnecessary, going so far as to diss on some wiring setup of my husbands… who immediately fixed whatever that servicer did to our stereo.
I have been told by managers that we would be called back after checking to see how our «repairs» went… and never heard back. The door to door sales person who sold us the package LIED claiming if we called Ousmann in KC that we could get the SAME package when our current contract (which he assured us was not a contract… but if cancelled early incurred a late fee… how is that not a contract?) was up… we did as he instructed and spent hours on the phone ending up with a bill twice the promised amount.
Long story short… they lied to us, we paid for a year of service with half the internet speeds promised in our package, our dvr cant seem to record the right shows even though we were given a new one… WASTE OF MONEY. OH did I mention the initial install guy took well over the 4 hours we were told to install it… incorrectly…We are now switching back to COX and will never mess with the bs that is Uverse and will definitely NOT be getting any services associated with that ridiculously misleading company.
