Holy cow. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 5 years since my first review. I’ve only been twice more in that time, but after a particularly sleepy moment in the car, I needed some sugar for the drive back to SLC and their shake did not disappoint.
I mean, in the name of safety, I grabbed a delicious chocolate banana shake and I made quick work of it. You’ll be happy to know that it helped fend off a case of the sleepies and I arrived home safe and sound.
I still remember that day romping through the hills with my pup. She was with me again on this last trip, filthy, happy, smiling, and grateful that I could get a shake to bring us both home alive. Have you ever tried to eat french fries with a dog in the car? My pup is actually very respectful, so next time I need to remember to grab an order of them.

It took 20 mins to get a shake I didn’t order any food just a shake and it took 20 mins I sat and watched 3 people who came behind me order food and get there food before before I got my shake. The time before this my fries wasn’t done and the salad dressing was so thick I didn’t have enough to eat half my salad it was just one big gallop and I could do with out all the weeds in the salad there is nothing fancy about finding the weeds you find out side in you’re salad. I have never been to a more slower fast food place and they never open at 10am it’s 15 mins after they turn on there fryers and stoves shouldn’t they be there hrs before to prep for the day and it all ready before 10am.

Great burgers and fries. The only con is there perpetually out of Nilla Wafers for the shakes. There’s a lot of other options though.

Staff is always super friendly in the drive through. Best mozzarella sticks. Mushroom Swiss burger is amazing. The best though is the banana shake with butterfinger chunks! It’s always a treat.

This has been my long time go-​to spot for burgers in Tooele. Typical Greek burger/​gryo fair found throughout Utah but very good. Their fries are thick and have always been served hot, and with fry sauce. I like their pastrami burger the best. The gyro is ok but I have found that it is difficult to find a really good gryo from a fast food joint. My only complaint is that they use picked jalapeños in the jalapeños burger (as most places do) but it would be soooo much better with fresh grilled jalapeños (hint, hint).

Another non-​chain restaurant in Tooele that we enjoy very much. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet and have been here 3 times so far.
The place is a little run down but it doesn’t bother me. And the sticker on the door says people love is on Unilocal ;)

I was in Town visiting my in-​laws and I wasn’t very impressed with these burgers. I order a very basic burger just for the reason to taste the beef patty and how it was cook. The patty was definitely over cooked and way too charred. It wasn’t seasoned at all and when I took a night out of it, it tastes extremely bland. Not going back there.

Stopped by here on recommendation of friends. The food is really pretty good and I was not disappointed.
I understand this is a local place with the one location but it kind of reminded me of astro burger, crown burger or apollo burger.
Food was great and I will eat here again if in Tooele. Would have been 5 starts but the tables were sticky and the floors and walls were a bit dirty.

Im sad to say that I did not eat at American Burger. After reading all the reviews on Unilocal I thought I would give it a try. When I arrived and walked in there was a pletera of flies, then I looked behind the counter and not a single person was wearing anything to restrain thier hair, and all the places they were preparing food looked like they havent been cleaned in a while. Again this isnt a review on the food, which im sure by the reviews is good; this is a review of what prevented me from trying the food.

This place is great
Let me say it is not «fast food» it’s a restaurant with a drive thru
After working here I can say that everything is fresh.
Every protein is never frozen and delivered every morning.
The kabobs are hand sticked and marinated every morning, onion rings are hand battered daily, salads assembled before they open and pastrami is marinated all day and strained before placing on the burger so you don’t get a soggy bun.
Their side orders are picked very carefully before the owners serve them. They put so much care into what kind of food they serve.
Even the French frys are only half frozen on delivery so they don’t dry out and burn during cooking.
If you ever find yourself passing through, definitely pick this place to sit and have a meal.

Small town, greasy fast food, and unapologetic as such. I had a mushroom burger that was delicious. The fries were good but they need to work on the batter for the zucchini and onion rings.
Would not hesitate to eat at again, but wouldn’t go out of my way for such.

This place is awesome. Great pastrami burgers. Fries are very good. Love their cheesecake shake. Never been in to eat only through the drive thru. Mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, & the jalapeño poppers things are all yummy too. Favorite place to eat in Tooele so far.
