This location is pretty terrible. I now drive out of my way to go to the one on military rd by the 290(that one is great). I was consistently getting rude service, long wait times, and wrong/terrible orders. From watery hot chocolate to them completely not listening to me, this place is the worst. Here’s an example of my last interaction there «Hi can I please get a café mocha with whipped cream»(it’s supposed to come with it but they don’t put it on unless you specifically say to do so) «I’m sorry did you say you want the latte?» (confused) «No, the café mocha please» Get to the window… «Did you say you wanted the café mocha or the mocha latte» «The café mocha with whipped cream»(i turn to ask my boyfriend if I was speaking french) «okay here you go sorry about that» I get home… aaaaand it’s black coffee. It’s like this EVERY time I go. Sometimes I’ll be in a nearby plaza and think«ah, it’s been a few months, they probably stopped being the worst tim hortons on the planet». They always prove me wrong. This location has been a crap establishment for years… it should just close.

It’s unfortunate that this location happens to be the one right down the street from me. Their employees are consistently rude, completely unaware of their own products, and soooo sloooow. And the coffee here isn’t nearly as good as Tim Horton’s used to be. I have yet to receive good customer service from this place. The last time I was there, I had been waiting several minutes for an iced coffee(which I get black, probably the easiest order there is), when a lady that seemed to be the owner or manager came out and started yelling at her employees for not helping me. It was great that she got me my coffee in thirty seconds but it was kind of uncomfortable to hear her yelling about how«pissed off» she was about her employees. Plus, I shouldn’t have to wait for the owner to come to get quick service. And on top of it all, the employees were still rude. And that’s just one of the unpleasant experiences I’ve had. Once, my boyfriend and I went there around 10 at night to get something and the employees were arguing with each other about who was going to help us. Unreal. I understand that Tim Horton’s probably isn’t the best job ever, but at least pretend to be happy and maybe you’ll enjoy yourself a little more. From now on, I’ll take the extra five or ten minutes it takes to get a coffee and drive somewhere else.

I am not a fan of Tim Horton’s coffee for a number of reasons, but this particular location is the majority of the cause. I have never received a proper order from this particular Tim Horton’s(this is the location across from DairyQueen and the DollarStore at the intersection of Niagara St. and Seymour St. just as you cross over the bridge to/from North Tonawanda). Their failure over the last several years to successfully serve a double/double boggles my mind. We’ve ordered a mixed box of TimBits for our children and received a stale box of powdered and nut(only), and when this was brought to their attention, they would then tell us to wait, as they were out of everything else. Any other establishment would have explained this before the order was finalized. Having known people who worked in this particular location over the years, I’ve learned that it is entirely touch and go as to what you get. I was told a few years ago that the management had changed, but we are still greeted by cashiers who can’t seem to make change, are unkempt or simply don’t know how to do their job. As the previous review stated, their location is excellent, which I believe is the only reason they stay in business. I’ve had discussions with several friends and family members about receiving poor service, incorrect change and/or improper orders from this location as well, but it’s «on the way to work», which unfortunately trumps the crappy coffee – If you can manage to squeeze through their tiny parking lot without causing a traffic jam, blocking parked vehicles or the drive-thru while waiting in long lines(in the morning or evening), or feel like parking around the corner and walking inside that is… I myself would rather go out of my way and drive into NT and go to Dunkin Donuts, where I have never received poor service. Even my curiosity over the Cold Stone Creamery at this Tim’s location hasn’t been able to draw me back in.

What is it with the crappy fast food establishments in Buffalo? Seriously! Is it really difficult to produce an iced cappuccino that I ordered in less than ten minutes? Is it even more difficult to get my order right? I just don’t get it. The only reason I repeatedly visit this location is because it’s near the roller rink, and I like to get a coffee before or after roller derby practice. If it wasn’t for their location, I would never go to this Tim Horton’s ever again. Every time I have gone there, I’ve had to wait at least five or ten minutes for my order. Usually I just order a coffee, a croissant, or a wrap, neither of which require a brain surgeon to produce correctly and in a timely manner. When I do finally get my order, it’s wrong at least half of the time. I don’t return the order because I don’t feel like waiting another eternity to get it back(and hopefully correct). If you want your Timmy Ho’s fix, hit the location on Young St. across from Tops. You’ll be out of there in record time, and with a meal that is exactly what you ordered.
