I’ve gone to different optometrists throughout my youth, but I’d definitely say that this little place is probably the best I’ve gone to. It’s on the corner of Brighton and Eggert, right across the street from Brighton Animal Hospital. The parking lot is perfect for the size of their business and I never had a problem finding a place to park. The outside as well as the interior is clearly old school. Whenever I open the door leading inside, I always think to myself, «This is what it must have been like to live in the fifties.» Despite that, I love it here. The receptionist/front desk person has literally been there as long as I can remember. I’m wondering if she was the first person to ever be hired there. Every time that I’ve gone there, she’s always been on top of her game. While I was waiting for my last appointment, she had to have just went through ten phone calls of people who had appointments the next day. I was amazed, shook my head, and confirmed to myself it takes a really dedicated person to do that job as well as she did. The optometrist I had was quite friendly and she was very personable and easy to work with. I’m blanking on her name, but she asked me so many questions and seemed generally intrigued about my life. Plus, bonus, my eyesight didn’t get worse. I seriously left her office beaming. The opticians are okay. Some of them have been around forever and are genuinely interested in their jobs. Others are okay, I just let them do what they need to do and get out. I’ve never had a problem scheduling an appointment or ordering contacts/glasses. The glasses might be on the expensive side, but it’s been awhile since I’ve needed a new pair. Give them a whirl and see what happens. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Brighton Optical probably has the best service around. I highly recommend their service and their staff!
