Was at furniture store next door so I figured I’d stop in and check it out. Saw singles of Sierra Nevada’s seasonal «Hoptimum» on the shelf. The 2014 release of this beer hit the shelves a bit over a month ago, so I was psyched to find it considering it usually sells out. It wasn’t until after I took it home and was about to crack it open that I realized it was actually 2013’s release. For those of you who don’t know too much about beer, hop forward ales need to be consumed fresh. Three months is pretty much the outer limits. This beer that they sold me, at full price, was over thirteen months old. This is completely unacceptable for a beer store, they should know better.

Why is this place soooooo far away?!?
They have a beer tasting station up front. Like that beer? Then take home a growler. Wine tasting is open as well. They had a huge selection of micro-​brew beer and the pricing on Whiskey in particular was reasonable.
