I took a class with Josh while I was visiting from out of town. He is associated with Team Renzo Gracie and Serra BJJ, two of the most well known BJJ teams in the northeast and the country. He provided detailed instruction and the culture of his group of students was friendly and inviting which is very important to me. I read above that someone was complaining about price. For $ 80 a month, you get what you pay for. The cost is higher, but so is the detail of instruction and technique involved as well.

Dropped by Madama Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu while I was out in Toms River visiting family. Josh is super nice and introduced me to the class. The technique Josh showed was great; something I had seen before, but a little bit of a twist to it.
The facility is great. Lots of mat space and lots of good folks to roll with. No one tried to smash or anything; just straight up technique. If I’m ever back in town, I’ll definitely be dropping by again!
