Just spent 3 nights here. Had a wonderful experience. We stayed in Virgil & Allie’s room and it was perfect, bed is very comfortable. The entire B&B is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We loved relaxing in the evening in the living room and watching movies. Joyce prepared a wonderful meal each morning. I looked toward to chatting with her each day, she’s a local author and a wealth of information and history. Prices are reasonable for the accommodations. Location is walking distance to the heart of Tombstone. We will definitely be back!

Full disclosure: I’m not a bed and breakfast kinda guy. I mean, really, what man is? Bed and breakfasts are, as a rule, designed for the female consumer. There’s just something emasculating about sleeping in a bed that could pass for an over-sized Victorian bassinet. And then having to wake up after a night of drinking and exchange pleasantries with Aunt Gertude? If I wanted such nonsense, I’d stay with my Aunt Gertrude. But when staying the night in Tombstone, your options are somewhat limited. What this town really needs is a restored brothel. Now THAT’s my kinda bed and breakfast. All that aside, this place was awesome. Great bang for your buck. Large, comfortable rooms with all the modern amenities, without sacrificing period touches(claw foot bathtub!). Breakfast was delicious, and although the proprietors are there to give advice about what to see and do during your stay, they respected your privacy and didn’t ask any uncomfortable questions(are you married? what do you do for a living? why did you come home shirtless at 2 am? etc.) Highly recommended.
