I headed out to Tomball to get my nails done with a friend but my gps led me to the entirely wrong area so we changed our plan from the place we intended to go. I happened to pull over and call her while I was staring at the back of this shop, so she came to me. As soon as I got there I headed in with my sister and we were taken back to start our pedicures. When my friend got there she wasn’t greeted by anyone. Not a single person asked her if she wanted to get her nails done. So she ran down the street assuming they were too busy and came back. When she got back it was more of the same so she just ended up leaving. My pedicure(#2 on their menu) was okay, but my toes already have nicks in them. The nails weren’t trimmed at all and it’s noticeable in places that they should have been. My manicure was done so quickly and poorly. The polish is nearly translucent in most places, and one nail bubbled badly. My nails were barely trimmed and then poorly filed. Plus, I needed a manicure badly. Big time needed a professional one done– I have recently developed a lot of dried skin around my nails and my cuticles are bad. Nothing was done about any of that. It was more of just putting the polish on and being done. They led me to the light, had me pay and took off. No one came to check on my nails or told me how long to stay. I paid too much money to have hands look the same but with polish now. Also, everything that was used on my hands and feet seemed to not have been sanitized or washed. It was all pulled off of a cart, used, dipped in my pedicure water that my feet were hanging out in, and put back on their carts. Which were then just stored back by the chair. The bowl that my hands were dunked in were just emptied and stored back in the cabinet. Most salons I’ve been to wash and/or sanitize their instrument between customers. Just my experiences. But I don’t live in Tomball so it really doesn’t matter much to me. There were some women in that seemed to be regulars and they had beautiful hands and feet. So maybe that’s part of it– find a tech you like and be a regular and you might have a different experience.

I still love this place. Everyone is so sweet & friendly. Came in & redeemed our«free mimosa» coupon today & got the hot stone pedicure as always. They run specials pretty often which is always nice. You can’t beat the prices & it’s one of the cleanest nail places I’ve been to. Forever coming back.

Don’t get SNS done here. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a new and more natural way to do your nails. It’s a gel, then powder combo that they layer directly onto your nail. So it uses your natural nail base shape and length. If you need length added they will(or should) add a tip to make your nails even. My SNS experience here was NOTGOOD. They were very kind and I enjoyed the experience but I do not think they know how to properly do SNS. My nails look bumpy, puffy, uneven, and doesn’t have a pretty shine. It’s like a matted shine if that makes sense(hard to see in the photos). In person they look awful. In addition, the color I chose was a pretty tan with a shimmer. I see no shimmer now and it’s not what I thought color wise. She did not make my nails even at all! I have some nails that are slanted from poor filing. The paint is going onto my skin, its bumpy and puffy, and my thumbs are incredibly uneven. WHY wouldn’t she put a tip on my shorter one to make them even? I told them before starting that I wanted either acrylic or SNS, but said to do whichever would be prettier. I emphasized I wanted my nails to look natural and pretty. My nails look awful. I bet they do everything else really well because of the other high reviews… but they can’t do SNS. Very disappointed.

So, I decided to come back because I needed fills done. This time around the dipping powder didn’t pop off. I asked if she could do my fills and she said no and told me to come in tomorrow. I said I couldn’t come in tomorrow because I had plans. She said yes you come back tomorrow because she(points to someone’s desk) will do a good job. I said she did a good job last time. She didn’t want to do it. I said ok, I’ll go to another store who can do my nails today. Sorry guys, I tried giving this place another shot but I’m done. Never have I been told to come back. I could see if they were busy… Find another shop people. Drive an hour in traffic to be told to come back tomorrow all because she doesn’t feel comfortable doing it. I’ve been back since this visit to get the powder from Quinn. Lasts about three weeks. Did a great job. Downfall is that she only works Saturday and not every weekend. I went last week to get the gelish nail polish and its chipping on three nails. Sorry guys. As great of a job that Quinn does, it’s not worth coming only on her schedule. I will be finding another salon to fix the polish that’s chipping in less than a week

Been to this salon 4 times but used the same tech 2 times. 1st time good. 2nd time so-so. 3rd time good so went back 4th asking for same tech for a color change. Not happy with the last one. The tech was so rushed that she smudge my nails twice. The salon was not busy at all. I was rushed out with the nails too wet(2 base coats, 2 lacquer coats, and a top coat and 5 minutes under the light… really??) Even after a twenty minute drive home nails out window trying to dry. Woke up this morning to smudge lumped and clumped nails. I just gave up and spent time redoing my nails myself. Not perfect but these will be acceptable for my Christmas party tonight.

Update for my first review: Nikki contacted me and offered for me to come back in for a complimentary mani/pedi. I called and went back in. Service was much better as far as dead/old skin removed from my feet/cuticles. I paid for a mani/pedi with shellac on the fingers(on my previous visit but, now know I didn’t receive a manicure… just shellac paint) and today I was given a manicure… with non shellac paint. Both ladies were nice at each visit. I appreciate them trying to make it right. The paint still isn’t great but, much better than my first visit. For some reason the paint isn’t setting correctly… But, for free I’ll live with it! Thank you Nikki. I didn’t catch the lady that did my nails today’s name. But, thank you for your time and effort! First of all, the lady that did my nails was extremely friendly… I ended up getting the $ 25 special… manicure/pedicure. I never get my nails done so this was a treat for me. I also got the shellac which I’ve never before. That turned out nicely but, my toes! They are horrible. I asked her to fix them and she pretty much said one toe nail was longer than the other?! Lol well, shouldn’t YOU even them out? My pinky toe was horrible! It had paint all over it and two of my other toes were missing paint. I’m frustrated with myself for not going back and making them fix it. The quality just isn’t there! Disappointed and even though I don’t go often… I won’t return there. I ended up paying 42 bucks with tip… if I had been smart and looked closer(it’s dark in there) I wouldn’t have tipped till she FIXED it and I shouldn’t have backed down… I’m going to go to another shop tomorrow and just pay someone else to repaint my toes since I have a formal occasion to attend Saturday and I don’t want my toes looking like my 2 year old painted them!

Went in for«back to school special» $ 10 shellac… apparently that didn’t include basic manicure services as well. Had to ask for extra coats of color to be put on, otherwise i would have had a translucent manicure. Its so dark in there too… was mostly lit by sunlight and lamplight. Accommodating to requests, but not the experience one hopes to get.

Great experience. They were busy, and still attentive while I waited. Great team work to make sure every customer was cared for. My little girl got a complimentary design. She was extatic! In my book this place is golden.
