I worked here for almost a year. Do not eat here. The way things are run is horrible. Several times food would fall on the floor in the back and I would be ordered by the managers to rinse the food off and serve it(although several times I threw it away anyways). Employees would sleep on the food prep tables and eat out of serving bins. If it was run well this would be a decent place but it’s not. Don’t trust the food there.

I wish I could say that I’ve eaten here, but I can’t. I arrived at 2:30pm on a Wednesday, starving because I worked through lunch and in a hurry to get something to eat & get back to work. The store was empty at the time. I ordered a Cuban sandwich because I love them & was informed that they were out of pulled pork. Knowing pulled pork takes a long time to make(if they make it themselves), I let it slide and instead ordered a turkey, bacon, & avocado. The young man asked if I’d like white or wheat. I chose white. He turned to pull my bread & informed me that they were out of white & asked if wheat was ok. I told him that it wasn’t ok & left hungry to return to work because the only quick options in the area are chain fast food restaurants & I avoid them all. This place is open until 9:00, one would assume that you have a 50⁄50 shot of disappointment by forcing wheat on every patron at a sandwich shop. Subway is trash IMO, but it’s right across the street and I’m pretty sure you can get at least 5 kinds of bread there. Pulled pork as well. GETITTOGETHER, SUBMARINA’S!

Not recommended. The food itself was not bad but not good enough to make me want to go back. I’m not usually one to give a poor rating due to poor service, but there was no outstanding redeeming factor to balance it out. We got there for a late lunch, and we were the only guests at that time. And yet it took nearly 25 minutes for two employees to get the three of us through a Subway-style sub bar. At one point, they ran out of lettuce and the guy shaved a whole head of lettuce instead of just getting what we needed in that moment and getting back to the rest after we were served. And the guy apparently has such a short term memory that he forgot/couldn’t tell which sandwich was which after roasting melted the cheese over the meat, so he put avocado on the wrong sandwich. Which is great for us because then we got avocado on all the sandwiches, but it doesn’t say much for their staff. Also, the hummus has the consistency of water. It gets put on with a butter-knife-like spreader, and he had to scoop 5 times to get a decent layer on. They need better hummus. Or spoons. I mentioned we were the only ones there. But there was one table with a tray from an old customer. Maybe they just got off a big lunch rush and we’re super busy(hence running out of prepped lettuce and avocado), but nothing was going on at all when we walked in, so surely one of them could have quickly zipped for a minute to clear the table at some point. Or after they had finished serving us even. Maybe they were both new and will get better over time.

I live around the corner from this place and have been there twice. Both times I’ve gotten food poisoning and was sick after. The first time I tried their Cali, the second time I had the meatball and had to tell the employee to change his gloves because he was touching his sweaty forehead and a food container he ran to get in the back of the store. That is just what I witnessed the 10 minutes I was there. I normally don’t write reviews but feel obligated. I don’t want anyone else getting sick.

Sub was okay. Bought a combo and when I went to pick out a chip, the fritos expired in MAY!!! It’s now AUGUST! Okay, I know its just chips, but its the principal. I will say she promptly took the cart to the back and removed the expired chips so they do get points for correcting the situation. But still, 3 months is a little crazy… can’t help but wonder what else has been overlooked… unfortunately we won’t be returning~sub didn’t wow us enough.

Stopped in out of curiosity. Walked was greeted by a friendly staff, also noticed they served over the horizon vanilla milk which is bleeping awesome! I ordered the club sandwich with all the toppings lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and American cheese. The sandwich was prepared the same way subway does it, but in my opinion it tastes so much better. The meat seemed to be really fresh as also the bread was. If you wanna slightly better sandwich then subway pop in.

It was OK really came off as a glorified subway. My girlfriend and I went there and paid close to what we would at Jersey Mike’s and it wasn’t nearly as good
