I will first say their repair was excellent, however, what happened after has been a nightmare. I have my Home Warranty send out a tech to fix an issue with my refrigerator. Which they fixed in a timely manner, however, when the tech put his knee on the side of the fridge and man handled to sideways instead of working it back into position he ended up gouging my floor in my house. I had him take pictures, send an email and I took him information. Seemed very professional and I wasn’t worried about it in the least. I thought they might actually handle this with no problem. Some time past, about a month or so. I called them up about it and asked to speak to a service manager or someone else, and after a brief hold, I was offered $ 100 for the repair. I stated the floor is not one tile, but a sheet and a cut out wouldn’t look right, but I was still interested in a repair. I was not happy they did nothing yet in regards to this. So, the holidays had now come and gone– no word yet. I had a Flooring Company come out and tell me the entire floor would have to replaced and I had no spare tiles in my house to even make this little thing go away. I called Hornet again, and sent them a copy of the invoice for repairs. I still have no reply. So here is almost FOUR months after the service in which they damaged my floor and effectively blown me off. All they had to do is follow up and do the right thing, but I guess small businesses just do not care anymore. Hornet’s work is good, their professionalism, customer service and follow through is abysmal at best.

Their scheduling process SUCKS!!! They don’t give you a definite timeframe until the day of. Then when they call you with the timeframe, they refuse to call you before they come so you can make sure you’re home and not sitting around twiddling your thumbs for 2 hours. Yep, I agree with the other person… they know NOTHING about customer service!
