Hands down, THE best bloody Mary bar I’ve ever had. If we lived in Toledo, we would frequent this place just for the bloody Mary bar. Although they advertise a «brunch,» there is only 1 item on their brunch menu and it’s difficult to find(on the back). The food was good — large portions, but good food. The restaurant is kid-friendly(heck, a kid’s birthday party was getting ready to start when we were leaving) and they have live music. The service we had was solid — she was very attentive and nice. When we first arrived(11:30 a.m.), there were maybe 3 tables seated. By the time we left(1 p.m. ish), the restaurant was pretty full. Although it was too chilly, they do have a pretty nice outdoor patio. Overall, a place I would recommend and one of the only places open on a Sunday in downtown Toledo.

Nice place overall. Horrible staff. There’s a 50⁄50 shot that your server will be rude, and make you feel like your a burden on them. Sometimes it’s great and everyone is nice, but I’m fed up with the people that this establishment chooses to hire. And I will not be coming back untill they decide to hire more respectable personnel

I was looking for a «kid-friendly» sports bar to take my 7-yr old son after a Detroit Red Wings game on the way back home. We wanted to get out of DET and thus did a Unilocal search in Toledo. Pretty good crowd on a Sunday evening, seems like several came from the Walleyes hockey game which had just let out around 8pm. The ambiance was nice, keeping the charm of an old, 150-year old building. The stadium is right across the street so this would be a good pre or post MudHens game spot. I wasn’t that hungry having chowed at the game 4 hours before, so I just got a club sandwich. It was about twice the size I was expecting, so I took half of it home. Tomatoes were very fresh and the sandwich was just right. Nice to have options other than fries or chips, since I am tired of those. My son got the kids grilled cheese. THey have a limited kids menu, about 3 items, but pretty popular kid choices. From the outside, the place doesn’t look like much from the main street. I was a little nervous at first but then the side entrance and others coming into the place with us at 8pm on a Sunday reassured me we were safe(not knowing Toledo very well I wasn’t sure of the area). Side entrance has a nice patio and private parking lot. Service was good and prompt. We sat next to the stage which I am sure gets used a lot on the weekend nights. Will definitely be back, especially if we get to a MudHens game.

I think the Durty Bird is great. The atmosphere inside is wonderful and they’re super accommodating for large lunch groups since my workplace frequents there a lot. They have a great outdoor seating area with fire pits and a private parking lot which is great for downtown. Their beer selection isn’t the largest but it still has good options. Lots of food for the price and their fries are amazing. Along with their mac and cheese. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I will always be open to coming here for a meal any time of day.

Ate here before a Toledo Walleye game. Decent selection of beers on tap. I had the wings which weren’t very good. The sauce was supposed to be hot but didn’t even really have any heat whatsoever. Our server was excellent. The space is brick and tall ceilings; quite nice. I will probably be back someday but will definitely choose something other than the wings to nosh.

Went here off of recommendations, absolutely loved it. The bartender was a cool guy and even showed me the best way to have a lamb burger cooked. Great place and would go back. Only complaint was the smaller than expected Mac n cheese(which tasted amazing)

Great place, very busy! Awesome bar staff! Homeade New England Clam Chowder was incredible! Was only passing through on the way home driving from Virginia to Minnesota, glad I stayed the night and came here to eat and relax!

Get the dirty burger deluxe! So good! And tastes incredible. Didn’t love the mac and cheese but it defiantly was good. Also the live music that have going each night is stellar

Sunday — around 1pm. Parked in their off street lot — came in thru the restaurant to hostess. Pretty full by bar area, live music playing(nice touch). No one outside, 1 table in section toward parking lot, we were seated in middle section which had 3 tables besides us(1 of them right across from us). Sat there for approximately 10 minutes, waitress so business with table across from us didn’t even acknowledge that we were there when she came to check on that table and was removing items. Did see the manager and one male server looking out the windows in the section towards the parking lot while we were waiting for service. My husband went up and told someone that we had sat there for approximately 10 minutes with NO service therefore, we would be leaving. WELEFT. Very disappointed! Usually hit this place prior to games, think we will be looking for a different place if we can’t get service when it’s not really business. Only had been here in the last year around twice since unable to attend games this past year. After reading a few of the latest reviews, service seems to be a real problem. Not sure what has changed.

I live in NYC and I would gladly make trip to Toledo JUST to have another specialty beer and meal here. It’s been a year since I’ve been here but I still think about it!

This is a cool gastropub with good food. The menu consists of sandwiches and burgers. They have a solid draft list and a full bar. We sat outside on a beautiful day and I enjoyed my food. We ordered an app and drinks, then later our entrees. Everything came out together and that always annoys me. The app was lamb sliders, Greek style. They had tzatziki sauce, Greek vegis, and feta cheese and were delish. My burger was called the durty bird deluxe and it was massive and messy. Grilled chicken breast with a great char and BBQ grill taste was topped with smoked cheddar, pulled pork, slaw, and sweet hot bacon. This was great and interesting with all the different flavors. The bacon started off sweet maple but finished with a kick that we both really enjoyed. Overall I was pretty happy and would return. Service was sketchy, especially considering the place was empty, but the food would more then bring me back.

Not really a burger guy, but every now & then I get a hankering for one & man did I hit the spot with this place! Probably the BEST burger I have ever gotten??? I had the Durty Burger Deluxe, boy was it messy, but AWESOME all @ the same time!!! The wings were really good as well & I’ve never had a better Greek Salad! My family of 5 were all pleased & that doesn’t happen very often. LOVED the character of the old building! Service was good & restaurant was clean. Will definitely be back soon!

It has been awhile so I thought I would give it another try. Waited 15 minutes on the patio before I had to go to the bar and order a drink myself. At least 6 different servers came and went without any acknowledgement. Two dogs got bowls of water before I even got eye contact. Weirdest batch of servers ever.

Definitely a place I frequent often when I’m in town. The grilled cheese tomato soup is absolutely wonderful! The staff has always been a delight. I typically come here for drinks in which I’m always satisfied with the quality. Their daiquiris are good. What I love most is the sangria. My only complaint is that they are sometimes out of certain items for one reason or another. Even though I’m a pescetarian, my friends who eat here with me rave about their chicken dishes. They also have live music which is great if you’re into that.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and were looking for some good Toledo food. This was a good choice! We came for lunch on a Saturday . I had the Durty Pulled Pork Sandwich and my husband had the Durty Cheeseburger. Both were HUGE and delicious! My only complaint is that the service was very slow for the small amount of people that were there.

Tuna melt… yum. Very nice little sportsbar in the towncenter of Toledo that offers nice lunch items ranging from bleu burgers(thick and juicy, said my roommate!) and melts and salads. The chicken caprise sandwich was amazing. Really moist and flavorful, an appropriate portion size. Will return in the future. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for us when we asked for directions and to-go drinks. Friendly smiles all around and it made a difference. Price: 7⁄10 average, some items better priced. Food: 9⁄10 tastiness. Service: 9⁄10 Interior: 6⁄10 a bit too dark. Exterior: 7⁄10 kind of hidden by building’s dated exterior.

Great Fewd. Great Krowd. Great Atmusfear. Durty Bird has it all! The weekend Bloody Mary Bar, is not the best I’ve ever been to, but it’s really pretty good.

The service was pretty awful. Food was alright; nothing to write home about. Basically it is just ok and kind of forgettable. But it will satisfy a craving for bar fare if you happen to have one!

This place is amazing! I would say they have the best burgers in town — so far. Well, with the exception of that burger at JAlexander’s. But, Ye Olde Durty Bird is a great place for a wide variety of sandwiches. My favorite being the turkey burger which is seasoned to perfection! Also, the guac on top is very delicious and adds a nice freshness to the sandwich. My boyfriend usually gets the lamb burger and that’s been his thing ever since the first day we came here. Their wings are fall-off-the-bone amazing! Although, I would try them without the sauce because it can be slightly overwhelming; and the chicken is too damn good to be sauced anyway! Haven’t tried any cocktails or dessert but that’s definitely a plan next time I visit. Live music, great ambiance, great service & amazing food. Love this place!
