This Metropark is stunningly beautiful! There were many different trails to choose from, wonderful walkways, and benches available to stop and appreciate your surroundings.

Great trails to walk and ride. Nice gardens to take photos. Ample space to fly kites, run around and BBQ. A few covered areas available for rental. A lot of parking options. I wish they would update the playground area because I think it has been the same since I was playing on it 20 years ago.

This review is for Wildwood Metropark: This is my hands-down favorite thing about Toledo. I’m originally from a much larger city, and it’s hard to find things about Toledo that can beat other cities, but this park is one of them. It happens to be the closest Metropark to where I live, but I’ve been to a few of the other ones, and this is still my favorite. There are several great dirt trails, and it feels extremely secluded when you walk through(not in the creepy way, but in the peaceful nature-y way). To further emphasize how much I like this park– I generally have hated running all my life(it’s boring, okay?!), but I’ve been running at this park all year because it’s just such beautiful scenery. Obviously if you’re not an outdoorsy person, you probably won’t be impressed, but this is a fantastic spot for nature lovers. There’s also plenty of wildlife… lots of deer, sometimes you might see a fat raccoon, and a variety of birds. Definitely check it out.
