The Oasis Restaurant & Delivery

Fried Pickles were over-​cooked (pickles were dry) but the Boom Boom sauce was tasty. Chili dog was bland. There were so many onions on the hot dog, a least a cup full, I had to remove them. Hummas, while creamy, has no taste. Plenty of pita came with it! Spicy lamb gyro was puzzling. Bad choice on my part. Meat was tasty, took jalapeños off and put tatziki sauce on it. Tatziki tasted like sour cream only. I had to order the tatziki extra.
I guess I just ordered the wrong things from a pizza joint.

After leaving an average review 2 years ago Oasis recently responded and asked me to send an email to discuss my experience. It said someone would respond within 12 hours. I sent email Wednesday around 5pm and still haven’t received a response. I don’t understand why you would respond over 2 years later and act like you care when you don’t.

Got delivery here late last night for myself and my boyfriend after getting back from the airport since we were too lazy to cook. Delivery was speedy and food got here in good time. Boyfriend ordered a custom burger and curly fries and I got their lamb gyro and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a bit lukewarm but still decent and creamy. The gyro was flavorful and pretty good, just a bit too salty for my taste. Only downfall about the order was that everything was tightly packaged in styrofoam boxes so my boyfriends burger and fries were a bit soggy from the condensation, but still tasted good. We’d order from them again!

Go somewhere, anywhere else but here! I don’t care if it’s delivery or you eat in, they have the lousiest food you can eat; in fact, the last chance I gave it, it was inedible. Period. Outrageous prices with horrible food. Keep driving…

We used to order oasis at least once a week. I have complained once in 2 years over a smoothie that came in a broken cup that leaked all over. Tonight I ordered cheesy chicken chunks. They were drenched in cheese sauce. I called after eating a couple and they offered to credit my account $ 2 for a $ 9.50 meal or they would send new ones. I didn’t want new ones. They’re disgusting. I guess I’m out money, and they’re out a return customer.

They have everything you could think of. They deliver until 4 AM. Oasis might be the only delivery after 2 but the price on everything is $ 1-​$ 2 more than it’s Toledo competitors. The food is good but it’s not perfect for me because with delivery sometimes food is inconsistent.
The food being hot sometimes or cold is probably due to their volume of orders. Their prices shouldn’t decrease because they provide a large menu for deliver to a large area from two. Its a great place for fussy eaters or late night eating. Its bad for people on a budget or people who want the best because Oasis doesn’t specialize in anything.

The food quality is a toss up every time for me. I was here yesterday to pick up my to-​go order and the cashier was very slow. My food was cold and it didn’t taste good. I’ve ordered pizza from here before and the quality was bad as well. Ill give them a few more chances I’m sure but not anytime soon.

I came here for dinner I didn’t even stay I just took it to go. The staff member that was running the front did not know the answer to any of my questions or the questions of the woman in front of me. So I will give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was new.
The smoothies are not fresh at all. They are made from a syrup mix and ice. No thanks.
I ordered the Apple Crisp Salad. The romaine mix it came with was all white and yellow. no green at all. Ew.
Anyway, I would definitely go somewhere… anywhere else.

I went here for my first time the other night and it was just alright. The hookah with a clay head was only $ 10.95 but it took us 30 mins to get a hookah! I don’t see how, when it wasn’t even that crowed! You would think a company like this wouldn’t run out of hookahs but somehow they did?! And the tobacco was pretty harsh.
The only thing I liked about this place was that I could have a beer with my hookah and my waitress was nice. Other then that, it wasn’t that great.

I miss SO many things from here. The chicken wrap. The salads. Literally, everything. The delivery was amazing and they always were timely with their deliveries. After moving to LA it’s one of the places I miss as a UT student. :(Next time I’m in Toledo, this is the first place I’m going: D

Jalapeño poppers were decent. i’m a wing fanatic and these were not the best wings by far. It was nice because it was quick and the staff were friendly.

The food takes some time to deliver but when it does it delivers. Good food and huge menu make this Toledo’s premier Restaurant & Delivery spot.

Went there with some friends to get some food and hookah. The «best hookah bar in town». Well thats a lie if i’ve ever heard one. We sat at a table for 20 minutes and no one stopped by. I got a hold of a waitress and she said she would be right over. We waited another 10 minutes and still no one. We had to change tables for some one to take care of us and that still took a good 10 minutes. When we finally got our hookah it was awful no smoke and they were out of almost everything. They had a menu but there was no reason to look at it since every time i asked for something the response was oh sorry we are actually out of that too. So, overall i will not be back terrible service and selection.

My wife and I ordered late after suffering from the horrid food at Toledo Hospital. We loved the hours and that they delivered to the hospital, so we didn’t have to leave. The delivery was quick, the Gyro Pizza was great, and the Jalapeño Poppers hit the spot. If we are back in Toledo, we’d definitely get the food again.

We have been going to oasis for years now and not because we love it but because it is convenient. They deliver late but the food is horrific. Our last experience after waiting over an hour and a half for our food to be delivered my grandma received a raw chicken sandwich. Raw chicken will kill you and shes old. The food is actually pretty expensive especially for being a late night place by the university. I dont for see us ever going here again. They are plenty of other places in the area where I wont get raw food.

Although good for a drunken night, the service here is terrible. Going out for my birthday, I was told I should go to oasis for a free hookah and enjoy a beer and some food. Going there the waitress forgot to get my drink and my food came out cold. The hookah was very dirty and when I asked for a new one the waitress made a fuss.
I would only go to oasis when I’m out late with no where else to go.
The oasis girls need to straighten themselves out instead of referring themselves as «hoe-​asis» girls in front of their customers.

Funny how you can be 1 block away from a world-​renowned art museum, yet apparently the neighborhood is bad enough that Oasis doesn’t deliver after dark. Yet back when I worked there (briefly), I had to deliver to Byrne Port Apartments, one of the most violent housing in the city.

I just ordered a big daddy burger haven’t bit into it yet but the fries and three cheese nachos pretty good

Called the oasis for delivery and they told my husband that they don’t deliver to our neighborhood after dark because we live too close to cherry street. We live in the heart if the old west end, and the woman on the phone told my husband we lived in a bad neighborhood. Pretty offensive, don’t know how their food is, but I’ll never go there.

Meh, a bit good, a bit bad. It’s cheap, open late, and they deliver.
Most of the food we ordered wasn’t too good, in my opinion– though my husband disagreed so… My husband ordered the mac and cheese and we shared an order of cheese garlic bread– not impressed– and I ordered a taco salad– even less impressed. Also, they had some weird ideas on sizes– the «regular» garlic bread was the size of a small pizza, yet their «large» mac n cheese was like an individual side portion from KFC. Really?
What WAS good was the burgers. I had an AMAZING burger with marinara and provolone cheese and hubby ordered a burger that was between two grilled cheese sandwiches (yes you read that right). So, the burgers were great, the other stuff was mediocre at best.
We had food delivered, so I can’t comment on the restaurant or staff. The kid that delivered was polite and got there in a timely manner. The man who took our order was very polite, but for some reason he said since it was my first time ordering and my order was $ 30, he «had to call me back.» He called right back and asked if I still wanted my order. What? That just seemed so weird to me and not the least bit professional. I don’t know what their policies are but that just isn’t a very nice vibe to give customers.
All and all, I wouldn’t recommend this place outside of the burgers and pretty much only if you wanted take-​out and/​or something late night. That’s about all it’s good for really. It would have only gotten one or two stars, but the fact the burgers were that awesome got them the three. That’s the only reason.
