This place doesn’t even deserve a star. As a restaurant aficionado, I don’t recommend anybody to visit this place! Me and my wife visit this place on Christmas Eve. We had a choice between this and the nearby San Marcos which we sometimes visit when we are in the area. I ordered tripas taco and nachos and she ordered carne asada steak tacos. First thing that’s important is service we had to wait for nearly 20 minutes before anyone assisted us, seems like they were to busy watching thier kids which were running around in the restaurant like chickens with thier heads cut off. Not too mention the family members that were coming in and getting plates of food to eat even before us even though we were there before them. Finally my wife had to tell them hey are we gonna get some drinks or maybe some chips atleast? So they bought out some over cooked chips and salsa was decent I will say that! Then the signs said they had soda they told us that our soda fountains were down and we have jarritos and the fridge for $ 2 a piece we declined that and decided on water, when they bought us out some water they had them in thin hurricane glasses that are supposed to be used for mixed drinks. So after a drink of water I noticed it tasted bland and stale as if it were sitting overnight then I looked at the glass and it was half a – ed washed. So my tripa tacos came the presentation was horrible greasy they fell apart and one bite out of the taco they were rubbery slimy lacked of the traditional crunch. My wife still waiting for her food another ten minutes finally her carne tacos arrive she complained of them falling apart steamy moistured watered like texture the meat had many elements of fat presentation was extremely poor it lacked of the traditional Mexican flavor where’s the traditional authentic Mexican spices lots and lots of fatty grizzle. And still I’m waiting for my nachos they haven’t got their s – t together and didn’t have all the materials to make the nachos that’s what the waitress told me! So one of the workers ran across the street to the neighboring save-a-lot store but we should have have thought twice before eating at the place and not to mention there was no customers there and the tables weren’t cleaned! So then my nachos arrived I’m gonna call them the save a lot nachos since these guys didn’t have their sh– together and could have ordered enough materials from vasko or sysco instead they ran out during our dinner outing wasting our time so finally the nachos came our way instead of coming in a glass or ceremic plate they packaged them in a take out styrofoam box with the top cut off! And the nachos were on top of foil inside of the box. And they had beans that were dry as if they were sitting for two days unrefrigerated. They used the wrong cheese it wasn’t even melted or nacho cheese it was some cheap vegetable oil type cheese. The steak inside was loaded with grizzle and fat. The chips were falling apart and stale, these were by far the worst nachos I ever had it’s a miracle this place is still in operation, where’s the health department? I feel that they should revaluate this place, instead of this eatery being a pleasant experience it was a nightmare. AVOIDTHISATALLCOST!

Stopped in for a couple tacos and was pleased. Décor isn’t much, pretty basic, not exactly«clean,» but not scuzzy. That’s the part that could use the most significant improvement. Got a big basket of warm thick crunchy chips and a delicious salsa, nicely blended mix of cilantro with a little kick. Tacos are served traditional style on grilled soft corn tortillas with cilantro and onion. I got an al pastor and a steak, one of each, with cheese. Food came fast, the server was friendly. Tacos were tasty, the al pastor was chopped into chunks, not shredded, which I prefer. It had a nice, subtle marinade that was juicy and tasty, but not over powering. The pork was a bit fatty and stringer than I prefer. The steak was excellent, succulent, juicy, chopped, and flavored perfectly. Veggies were fresh and tasty too. Best part, I got out of there for $ 5, including a $ 2 tip. Great stop for a quick couple tacos. They have a full menu including meals and deserts. I’d like to return and try some.
