I’m not going to deny that I absolutely adore New York & Company, whether it be here in Toledo, back in Columbus, whereever. I take comfort in knowing that every store will(more or less) have the same layout, the same offerings, and the same feel overall. That said, the sizes at NY&C are completely out of whack. A size small is actually a size medium at other clothing stores, which makes it difficult for me at times, since XXS is not an option. The same can be said about the pants as well. Styles can be a hit-or-miss, even though they are typically geared towards the more mature side of women’s clothing. Some seasons boast tops and pants that I will purchase in a heartbeat. Other seasons showcase apparels that would be appropriate… for my grandmother. It always seems as though NY&C is having a sale of some sort, which isn’t necessarily a good thing, because it’ll just leave you wondering if, in fact, you had actually just spent $XXX for the third time in a given month as you’re walking out of the store. Trust me, I would know.
