La Moda – Barber and Salon

The atmosphere is great and Moe delivered one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. Super professional and very clean!

Didn’t cut my hair like I asked him to. Was kind of rough with the clippers. The shave, scalp massage, and nose waxing were very good. Nice and friendly place. My opinion overpriced for the services.

Steven gave me a great cut. I was a bit worried as I don’t really have a sport style but everything turned out great and I’ll certainly be back.

Admittedly, I’m one of the guys who says «just a trim, make it look good». I recently moved to Toledo and finding a good barber that could actually make it look good is somewhat a struggle. Luckily, everyone here knew exactly what they were doing, and explained what they were doing so I could give better instructions. Great staff and environment

I’ve been to several haircut places in Toledo. This is by far the best one. Every other place I went to, I left unhappy. I’ve never had that experience with La Moda. The owner is so friendly and you can tell the place goes the extra mile to make its customers feel comfortable. Every visit is memorable and I believe they offer free bottled water, donuts, apples. I’m not sure about that because I see them sitting out but I never ask about them. The design of the place itself is unique and amazing, an extension of the owner’s expression and art. The owner is very invested and seems to love what he does.

The absolute best barbers in Toledo! I have been cut by both Moe (the owner) and Steve and they make me feel great before I walk out the door. Very impressed and love coming here every week.

If u live in Norfolk and are not getting your haircut at this spot, something is wrong with u! I travel for a living. Found this place on Unilocal so I checked it out. Met the owner Moe who also cut my hair. Great dude better hair stylist! Very impressed. When I am in town I will be going to see Moe. Best spot in town.

la Moda is a great barber shop for All types of hair. My son left with a crispy clean fade. The guys here were cool as all get out! Will be back again for sure. Thanks La Moda!

This place is just absolutely great! I have been worked on by both Steven and Moe. Lately I have been having Moe take care of my weekly visits. I shave my head in summer so don’t need haircuts but for me that means my beard has to look perfect since it stands out with this look.
Moe is just great. Gets me in and out quickly and is a master of the straight razor. I never have to tell him what I want. Been there enough that he just knows. This place has become a weekly event that I very much look forward to. Oh and as we get into fall and thru winter I do have Moe take care of my haircuts as well! Just a great place. I send everyone that asks to this shop!

I just moved here from Brooklyn where a young fellow named Mark at Georges 2 has been cutting my hair for about two years. He was awesome. He was one of the top reasons I was going to miss my little corner of Brooklyn.
I’ve been in town for about 7 weeks, and I arrived here in need of a haircut. Those of you familiar with math and the grooming regimens of a gentleman will appreciate that this means I have needed approximately THREE haircuts in my short time here. I struck out not once, but twice with other local barbers before I cleared the outfield wall on my visit to La Moda. Stephen (or is it Steven? or did I completely forget his name and I’m a jerk?) listened to what I needed, acknowledged and corrected what had gone terribly wrong in my last two cuts, and set me up right.
I’ll be back in three weeks, fellas, but in the interim, let’s everybody chant along with me:
What do I want?
A skillful and neat gentlemen’s cut for an affordable price!

Pretty much every three weeks depending on my schedule!

I usually go to am older barber and am in and out in 15 mins with 10 bucks outta my pocket.
I decided to try a new place and I’ll tell you I’m not at all disappointed. This guy is a master and I will be going back everytime.
I got a cut and hot shave and for the price, the cut and the treatment I received was well worth jt. It’s a nice environment and a pleasant barber experience.

Well the haircut was a good one. The owner knows how to be a true barber.
But the experience during the cut and shave was way less than enjoyable. He told me about how he was from New York and why he was here but then just kept telling me how bad it was here in Toledo. Then he proceeded to tell me he wants to find more barbers but only black people show up wanting jobs and he doesnt want them working there.
Great cut if you can get past the banter.
