1^st time visit with kids in tow (due to Kids Eat Free Wednesday) Great atmosphere, servers were steady and seems like this night is pretty popular for them. I was on the phone with my lady & didn’t realize until the food came out that none of them ordered from THE KIDS MENU… so much for saving $$$!!! One son ordered «Pizza Balls» which are basically cut-​up chunks of chicken breasts covered in your choice of sauce, topped with pepperoni and cheese… meh! One had a burger and the other had wings. I ordered the «Mac & Crack»…yeah, that’s the name-​however, more like «Mac & Wack!» It was macaroni and cheese with andouille sausage and shrimp. Sounded tasty but not so much. The consistency was similar to ravioli, much like (box mac and cheese) and I believe that most of the chesse used was a cheese sauce. I didn’t like it, so I sent it back & opted for wings. One of the guys from the kitchen came out to ask about my dish and I told him it was too thin-​needed some sort of thickening agent to bind the dish together, or substitute the cheese sauce for real cheese & use heavier noodles. He apologized and told me that the dish is new but appreciated my feeback and would take it back for review. I saw where they were going with the dish but it needs more work. My wings were awesome though-​not overcooked and meaty. Overall, other than my 1^st choice-​seems like a great place to try again when I’m back in town.

Looking forward to coming back again! We had a great server! The inside is very nice along with the specials that they offer. I order the Mac & Crack which turned out to be excellent.

wife and I decided to give it a try on a Saturday afternoon. boy were we were pleasantly surpriesed from the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm friendly smiles from every employee in the restaurant. Our server was very pleasant and prompt. We asked for her recommdations on an appetizer and for her favorite sandwiches. She first pointed us to the Chubby Mac, which consists of chicken chunks, homemade Mac and cheese, cheddar cheese and bacon bits. We choose the bbq sauce for the chunks. Boy were these a tasty treat. Our server had serval choices for sandwiches, which is always a good sign, we settled on a Barnyard Burger and corned beef Philly. Both lived up to our expectations. Great experience one we will and have repeated. If you’re looking for good bar food and Outstanding Friendly service then check-​out this place you will not be disappointed. (In the 6 weeks since our first visit we have been back two other times and have a similar experiences every time)

Went there with my son on a Saturday afternoon. Slow service but very friendly waitress. We ordered the Reuben Balls for an appetizer. Very good. I will definitely get them again.
They have a very large menu, I had the steak sandwich which was ribeye steak (cooked to order), with grilled onion, grilled peppers (red and green), on a hoggie bun. I was very happy with this sandwich and would definitely reorder. My son had a cheeseburger with egg and bacon on it, he claimed it was one of the best burgers he has ever had.
Service was very slow, but the atmosphere was pretty nice. Lots of TV’s for sport’s fans. Come hungry but be patient!

Okay first off there was no hostess at the door (front of house). So my friend and I seated ourself at the bar. The bartender had zero personality! She could barely explain what the beer specials are. Next she «forgot» to put in my dinner order. Also my guest waited 19 minutes to order a second beer. This is my second time here and I decided to give it another shot but this place sucks dick! Bar staff sucks… Wait staff sucks don’t waste your time with this sub par shit hole

I don’t often post, but this place is great. The food all came out fresh and hot. It should really become a hot spot! We’ll definitely be back! The only drawback was the wait staff was a little over whelmed, but they were still much better than most!

Popped in to grab quick bite, even said we were in a hurry. Had a hockey game down the road. Grabbed seats at bar to sit fast, place order and get back to rink. Bartender was fast, competent and experienced.
Ordered 2 burgers and kids corn dog. 20 minutes later, no food. Ask bartender, why does it take so long to cook a corn dog? She says, it’s not the corn dog, it’s the burgers that take that long. What?!
Any idea what happens to burgers cooked 20 minutes? Terrible, terrible terrible. Son’s mini corn dogs were burned. Really, hard as rocks. Burgers were well done after ordered medium rare. Tastless, dry and way too much bun.
Stunned that the menu brings in people willing to pay $ 11.00 for a burger, when the kitchen is slow, incompetent and inept. Lots of guys standing around in the cluttered, messy kitchen. Just taking their sweet time.
Threw away the food after one bite. What a waste of time. 40 minutes of our lives we’ll never get back.
Never, ever ever will we go to Chubby’s again. Like, ever.

Deep fried pickles, fries and cheese burger were tasty and our waitress Whitney was pleasant and patient.
The place was packed on a Tuesday at 5:30 because the menu is imaginative and prices reasonable.
A friendly casual place.

Great place to watch a game. Skip everything else and go straight to the burger. Delicious.

Got ribs and pulled pork with onion straws and white cheddar mashed potatoes. Pulled pork was excellent, it had some of the crispy burnt ends in it. Ribs were tender and came off the bone easily. Potatoes and onion straws were good, but nothing spectacular.

Today we had lunch at chubbys. Latoya was our server and she was awesome. Outstanding customer service. I had the wrap off the lunch special (I know pretty simple) but it was good. For lunch I think this is a great spot with a decent priced lunch menu!

Just ate dinner at Chubby’s. Great sandwiches and happy hour beer specials. HD tv’s had great pictures. Deli grinder was wonderful and corned beef Philly had tons of tender corned beef. Will definitely go back to watch a game.

Have gone there twice. Delicious food both times, and great service, even though they were packed. It’s a typical bar/​grill atmosphere, but still family/​child appropriate. Fantastic burgers, boneless wings, fries.

I ordered the slab of ribs, meaty, but tasted suspiciously like they had been precooked and reheated. Won’t be getting those again, but will try the burgers

Easy 5 stars! Had never been here, so our family of 5 just got a huge variety & split. Everything was OUTSTANDING! The highlights of our meal were the pulled pork nachos, the sweet potato waffle fries which had the BEST sauce drizzled over them, the mac & crack which is beyond description & the onion straws. Their ranch & blue cheese dressings were AWESOME. The only negative was the long wait for the food, but I’ll not complain, cause it was well worth it. Definitely one of Toledo’s BEST restaurants. Service was GREAT, staff were very friendly & informative. Restaurant was clean & well kept. They’ll sure be seeing a lot of me :-) Pics are from third visit.

I’ve only been to Chubby’s once, but the experience I had was good. I’ll definitely be back to try a few more of their menu items.
I went in for lunch with my wife, and we both had the classic burger and fries.
The lettuce/​tomato/​onion were all fresh, the beef patty was hand pressed and the fries were fresh cut (not frozen). These are all big factors for me. I’ve definitely eaten my share of mediocrity out there and this is not it.
They are on the generous side when it comes to portions, especially when it comes to the fries.
I’ve already earmarked a few items that I’m going to try the next time I stop in.
On the constructive criticism side, I’d like to see a few more beers on tap.
When it comes to sports bars, I’m going for the draft beer and I’d like to have a few more options.

Unique items on the menu. Great desserts!
We also love it that it is is just a mile from our house, in an area where there is not much close by.

This a new pub in Toledo with a well educated and friendly staff. The owners even make it a point to approach each table to say their hellos, and to make sure that your food and experience there is good. Every time that we go, we always have nothing but the best service and great food!

Really good service from the moment I walked in the server was friendly and quick to answer questions, they have a nice selection of beers both on tap and bottled also when asked they happily changed the TV to a basketball game I was interested in watching. The fold was moderately priced but fair the appetizers are a little pricy but other then that good deals. My only complaint is that they charge sides such as fries separate from your order and that can create confusion when reviewing the bill.

If you’re looking for a sports bar with high quality food and HUGE portions, Chubby’s is for you.
We ordered the BBQ pulled pork nachos, and some chicken chunks covered in fries & cheese. There had to be three full chicken breasts worth of meat in the chunks, served juicy and fresh. The pulled pork nachos had to weigh in at well over a pound, and the meat was moist and delicious. Even the homemade slaw on top of the nachos tasted really good.
Yep, it’s bar food, but it’s surprisingly good for what it is. If they are able to keep the prices reasonable (which they were) and the portions as big as they are, they are going to do very well.
This place gives Fricker’s a serious run for their money. Swing by with some of your hungry friends and go watch some football. There are TV’s everywhere!
