Arnold’s Home Improvement

My in-​laws hired Arnold’s through the Home Advisor website and were initially told in July, 2015 that it would take 8 – 10 weeks before they were able to start the bathroom renovations (so by October 1^st). They hadn’t heard from the company well into November and were told it would be another 2 – 4 weeks. Finally they showed up around Thanksgiving and had to postpone the job until a few custom pieces came in (they went without a sink for a month because they were waiting for the counter top).My father in-​law found many flaws in the work that was done: they didn’t install the heat duct under the vanity (just let the vent blow inside of it), they didn’t finish the corners of the drywall (a family friend had to help finish it), they put the wiring for the light off center of the vanity, the mosaic in the shower has more than five gaps, they did not replace the sub-​flooring, and a few other careless/​lazy mistakes in order to get the job done in five days. After a few calls to check the status of the custom pieces (which they said would only take a week) they finally came in again the Friday before Christmas. They probably would have waited until after the holidays to come. Of course when they were called the custom pieces just so happened to come in the day before. They also only did verbal discussion on what my in-​laws wanted done, and when the crew showed up they kept saying «well that’s not on my list». I understand that companies like this have other jobs to complete but they’re work ethic seems to focus more on quantity than quality. Not impressed.

Great staff and great workmanship.

We recently hired Arnolds Home Improvement to replace the roof on our home. The salesman was quite honest and did not try to «oversell» us on products and services. Staff members were available when we needed them, and the roofers were finished with our project in less than a week. We are pleased with the results.
We were referred by Payton and are glad that we chose this company for such an important home improvement project.
