Expensive, typical young douchebag crowd every tough guy is in there looking for a fight more like they’re looking for a beating but they’re all so young they still travel in packs prices are way too expensive and the place is just generally boring even though you mostly sit at the bar or very close to the bar the service is still shitty I have to give the bartenders one prop they can ignore people better than anyone I’ve ever seen in my life you can call them for an hour and a half and they act like they don’t hear you one poor bastard sitting next to me kept filling out keno cards and yelling for the bartender and by the time the bar tender got there the Keno round had already gone by I wouldn’t suggest this place the cops wait for you as you leave basically because it’s the only thing out where it is at, again just boring

Wanted to catch breakfast somewhere and happened to try Lil Bear, wow. Outstanding experience, food was excellent! Also got a mimosa which was large. Food came quickly and correctly. I got an Eastern omelet which was so good! Waitress and environment earned 50% tip, will be back soon and recommend!

Dad and I went to lil bear for lunch and we waited 20 minutes to be waited on. The waitress took care of another table that came after us. After taking the order of that table she went to another table that came in after we did. I will never go there again. I guess my money isn’t good there

If I could give this bar a lower rating then I would. The location itself isn’t terrible, as with any other location in Tiverton. I had gone in with a few friends and the instant we walked through the door the entire bar, including the staff turned to stare without saying a word let alone attempt to toss out a half assed«welcome». Feeling uncomfortable, we moved past to the lone pool table, where the gazes followed. I understand that there is «local blood» amongst the rickety hillbilly hood streets of Tiverton, however the grumpy older woman who nearly refused to serve us should not have the same mentality if she work with the public. I have never felt so I welcomed anywhere in my entire life. The grumpy, rotting staff and the old mall Santa regulars are more than just an eyesore, they are fucking dumps.

Have always had good experiences here. While yes it was very busy on this Sunday at 11am. We were sat at a table fairly quick and given our beverages. 20+ minutes went by without anyone taking our order. After approaching a staff member and asking if someone could take our order her answer was I’m sorry it’s shift change and really busy. Attention to detail is poor. Walking by the table numerous times while my glass of OJ sat empty. No one asked me if I would like a refill. There’s better choices around for breakfast/brunch in the area. To add waitress’s tells the couple next to us just don’t come here on a Sunday.

Been in twice. Had a lobster roll last year that was really good. Last trip in had the Chili burger and clam cakes. Both were great and the clam cakes had me thinking I was back at rocky point!

Went here with a friend for a Saturday morning breakfast. We usually do brunch at another local place on Sundays and this week they were gonna be closed. So I suggested doing a Saturday breakfast at Lil Bear as she had mentioned it was very good several times. We both had coffee and orange juice. That was only downside as juice was being poured my friend noticed a long hair on the side of the glass. Pointed it out to waitress and she took the glass aside and poured new drinks. I had a bacon and cheese omelette with all the usuals-hash browns(come with onions and peppers mixed in) grilled english muffin. She had the chourico and cheese omellete, same hash browns but with toast. Service was pretty good and the food was great to. I would definitely head back there again.

I can’t find one positive thing to say about this place. It’s for the regulars. It’s not a dining experience and it’s not a destination bar. It’s a cross between a dive bar and a who knows what. The food is ‘meh’ and could be better with some effort.

Went out this morning searching for a breakfast= lunch restaurant and me and my girlfriend found this place lil bears. At first I thought it was just a bar with lunch and dinner but behold they had a breakfast menu and they were still serving breakfast even tho we got there by 1:30 in the afternoon. They had sweet potatoes pancakes which we tried and I have to say that they were delicious. I had the chourice omelet that was a huge portion and also came with home fries and toast. My girlfriend had the veggie omelet which came with the same sides and was also a big helping. The bill came to only $ 17.94 and was well worth the price for all that food. The food was all very good. The staff was also friendly and the service was quick. Our meals were both out in ten minutes but there is no lack in quality. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be back for more and would also like to try there dinner menu. Well worth the trip

Never felt so un-welcomed in a restaurant/bar before. The bartenders who were both female will not acknowledge you and then become annoyed with you when you ask them politely a question.

We love going here. The food is affordable and tasty. The beer and liquor drinks are also affordable. The pizza is pretty darn good. If you have a chance to stop in during a football, baseball or hockey game it is packed and fun. The staff were very friendly to us and we have a little one and he enjoyed it too.

I’ve been there about six times during the past few years. I didn’t even know that this place served food until one day a couple of years ago on a winter night I stopped in one Wednesday night. I had a soda and watched a little TV. The female bartender was very nice and she told me about the The breakfast, lunches and dinners they have and showed me the menus. I was astounded at the prices and she assured me that the food was great. So couple of weeks thereafter decided to try it out for breakfast with a friend and I tell you I was not disappointed. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time(I think I got an omelette and side order of pancakes). You get a lot of food at a really great price, it’s probably cheaper than a fast food restaurant. Little special requests like just ordering one pancake is no problem and is given with a smile. Every time I’ve been there the staff has been very courteous and very friendly. Even though I’m not from Tiverton I feel at home when I walk in there. I loved it

Dirty tables and almost an hour to get your breakfast. Not worth the wait.

Went here for breakfast. The food was very, very good. In fact I would give the food 4 stars no problem. And even though the décor was tired, the restaurant would have gotten 4 stars. There was one drawback: The staff. When we sat, we had a bus boy come and wipe off our dirty table, who not only didn’t wipe it off completely(kinda gross, but not enough to complain), but he had ZERO personality. Our waitress came along, who was a very nice girl. We ordered almost immediately, and forty minutes later we got our food. The food was really good, my mother’s omelette had a heck of a lot of vegetables in it, and the home fries, although greasy, were tasty. Our waitress, as I mentioned was nice, but because she was so busy, if you asked for something(like a plate-which I did) there was a five to ten minute wait for everything. That was annoying. I asked for more jam, but didn’t get it for 5 or 10 minutes, so by the time I got it, I didn’t want it any more. Again, all of this were ever so small annoyances. Things you can forgive! The straw that broke the camel’s back was the keno. My mother and I were playing, and we had to go up to the bar to make any transactions. This is the norm for most restaurants that have keno, so that wasn’t a problem. The problem came the second time I went up to collect our winnings. I wasn’t playing another game, I just wanted to collect the $ 3 I won and move on. I stood there for a minute, that turned into 3 minutes, that turned into 5 minutes. I asked her to come over when she gets a second, because I thought she didn’t see me. She didn’t acknowledge my presence after all. Now my arm is starting to hurt from holding up the keno tickets. I switch the tickets into the other hand, and the guy next to me is telling me to just walk behind the bar and cash my tickets out. I told him if I knew how to run a keno machine I would. Everyone around me is starting to feel bad for me. Ten minutes later, when I am pretty sure that the bartender is punishing me because she’s serving everyone around me, I leave, go down the street to the hess station, and get my three bucks in less than one minute. There needs to possibly be two bartenders on a Sunday? I don’t know, but they definitely need to retrain their staff to acknowledge people and let the customer know that«I’ll be right with you».

Skip this. Much better places with friendlier staff around. Loud. Locals only type atmosphere. Bartender unfriendly and unhelpful. Threw menus at us after we had to ask for them. I picked a couple menus up myself off the silverware sideboard and thought they were breakfast and lunch menus so we asked for dinner menus. She threw 2 of the same menus across the bar. Typical pub fare from the looks of it. People were getting clamcakes which I didn’t see on the menu or on the«special» board, maybe you just have to know someone? We left unsatisfied to find some real dinner food, weren’t in the mood for sandwiches or appetizers. Place was much better before the reopening to a scaled down diner. I can’t believe there’s any room for weekend fun. Bar seats maybe 20 people and a couple high tops, and then the sun-room with some booths. You won’t miss anything if you don’t go. Didn’t see the kitty. Probably got hungry and left.

Good food, and friendly people, but not a place to go to meet people. Everyone is consumed in there own partys, though the prices are good, and they will put any game on you request. Overall, worth a casual night out with a friend.

I always feel like an outsider walking into this place but the food is delicious— totally worth it. It is always packed with locals. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are great. The caprese salad is amazing with heeps of mozzarella cheese. The rack of ribs is gigantic + the stuffies are always perfect. If you are getting take out double check the order before you leave. They tend to forget the dressing. Say hi to the kitty that is always on the back stairs. If you are in the mood for a good food + don’t want to dine in – this is your kinda place.
