I had the absolute WORST experience ever at this place, all at the hands of the manager Tim Morris and the owner Terri Bessler. My girlfriend and I were locked in their store after hours because their Google listing said theyd be open till 5, instead of 4… We got there about 20 till 4 and did our rounds around the shop. We came upon the basement which was dark, I turned the light on to see what’s for sale down there because I thought they were going to be open for another hour and we always visit the basement. While we were downstairs they shut off the rest of the lights and left, basment light was still on though. When we came upstairs and realized we were locked in we called them and also left a note with our contact info stating we’d like to come back and buy the items we found. When I talked to Tim the next day he was rude, asking why I thought I had the right to flip the light switch(big deal), instead of apologizing for not changing their hours and locking us in. 2 days later he calls again TWICE, when I call him back he tells me NOONE saw us come in(we walked by him and at least 2 other employees) and that he was«dubious» as to why we were there, implying we were there to steal! What an INSULT! On top of that, he says we are to never ever come back to their business, all because we had bad info(their fault) and got locked in(their fault). Later that night he goes one step further and sends me multiple VULGAR and INSULTING text messages, What’s your problem Tim? Where’s the owner in all of this? She’s on vacation so she can’t talk to me(in todays age of cell phones). she finally called me and almost seemed to feel bad but EVENSHE seemed to imply I was in the wrong! She says she hasn’t changed the Google listing because she’s been toox busy, ITSTHEFIRSTTHINGTHATCOMESUPWHENYOURBUSINESSISLOOKEDUP. Finally, 2 weeks later they changed their hours. Terri, you made a big mistake when you decided to let Tim handle this, I don’t care if you were out of town, you should have been the one to talk to me. To summarize : We got locked in because they were too lazy to change their hours and to do their due diligence to make sure no one was in their store before they locked up. We tried to call them immediately, left our contact info and let ourselves out. We went above and beyond to make sure we did what we could to be clear as day that we were simply misinformed, and had no ill intentions. What we got in return was the absolute worst treatment we could ever imagine, down to being actually banned from a store we’ve spent hundreds at and visited for years. Things then took a VERY personal turn when the manager, Tim Morris, took it upon himself to harrass me via text messages insulting myself and my girlfriend. THISCANHAPPENTOYOUTOO!

Great selection of décor items and vintage finds. The individual vendors take a lot of time and care to create creative, inspired displays. I went twice in the same weekend because I couldn’t stop thinking about several items I saw.

This is one of the gems of the Tipp City Antique shops. They have more then plenty to look at in a wide variety of categories. Prices are average, but look hard because you can find some deals. Friendly staff, always new things added. One worth stopping for.
